Birth Announcements
Penelope Clover Keys - Josie Proctor Keyes
and Josh Keyes o f Portland announce the birth o f a
daughter, Josie Proctor Keyes on Friday, January 30,
2009, at St. Vincent's Hospital in Portland.
At birth she weighed six pounds, 11 ounces and
was 19 inches in length.
Grandparents are Mike and Kay Proctor of Hep­
pner and Dr. Tom and Peg Rheuben o f Sisters.
N ova Lee Noel C am p b ell - Jennifer and
Richard Campbell o f lone announce the birth of their
daughter. Nova Lee Noel Campbell on December 30,
2008 at Good Shepherd Hospital.
At birth she weighed seven pounds, 12 ounces
and was 21 inches in length.
Grandparents are Dennis and Janet Thompson
and Kelly and Deb Campbell, all o f lone.

Les Schwab Pride in Performance perfect atten­
dance awards were announced for the first semester o f the
2008-09 school year. 36 students at Heppner Elementary
School had perfect attendance for the first semester and
59 students with perfect attendance for the second quarter.
Les Schwab donated one $25 gift certificate to Murray’s
Drug and Tommy Bredfield was the winner. Les Schwab
will also partner with HES for second semester perfect
attendance awards and all year perfect attendance awards
and prizes.
Lexington Baptist Church will be hosting a shared
Valentines meal on February 15, 2009 at 12:15, immedi­
ately following morning worship. Everyone is welcome to

Grenier. The conference will
conclude Sunday afternoon

Tamara Lynn Bayot and Kyle Brink Jacobsen,
both o f San Diego, CA, announce their engagement and
upcoming wedding.
Tamara is the daughter of Jesse and Patricia Bayot
o f San Diego. She is a 2004 graduate o f Monte Vista High
School in San Diego. She is attending Cuyamaca College
in San Diego.
Kyle is the son of Karmin Brannon Schwertfeger
o f Tracy, CA and Randy Jacobsen o f San Jose, CA. He is
a 2002 graduate o f Wilcox High School in Santa Clara,
CA. He is currently a Boatswainsmate, second class, with
the United States Navy on Coranado Island in San Diego,
CA.
