Mustang volleyball team moves

er, arrived in Portland on
Sunday, September 28, to
participate in the Juvenile
Diabetes Research Founda
tion (JDRF) Walk to Cure
Diabetes.

members enjoyed the 3.1
mile walk on a beautiful fall
day, a direct contrast to last
year where the rain did fall.
After the walk, team mem
bers lined up for the picnic
lunch before heading off to
partake o f unlimited rides at
Oaks Park Historic Amuse
ment Park. The team en
joyed a fun day o f working
and playing together, all for
a worthy cause.

Septem ber with proceeds
going to JDRF.

sophomore health class. The
sophomore’s participation in
the Walk To Cure Diabetes
was the first leg o f a two
day field trip. The follow
ing day, the class toured the

o f OHSU and the Shriner’s
Hospital.

Cardinals beat Honker 64-32
