State track and field results for Morrow County schools
This past weekend
state tournament track and
field events were held in
Monmouth. Morrow County
results are as follows:
Heppner
-Jordan Hatfield: 4th
place, 110 m eter hurdles
(16.85); 2nd place, 300 me
ter hurdles (4 2 .3 0 ); 10th
place, long jump (17-09.00);
and 3rd place, triple jum p
(41-06.50).

and 2nd place, 100 m eter

Babe Ruth golf tournament to be held
A Babe Ruth golf tournament will be held on Sun
day, May 25. The tournament will be a four person team
scramble. A caddy auction will begin at 8 a.m. and the
tournament will begin at 9 a.m. The cost is $35 per person
and includes lunch.

The state bound track team members from lone
Community School demonstrated their skills to Mrs.
C ollin's kindergarten class. Activities included the
long jump, triple jump, high jump, javelin, and relay
exchanges. Each kindergartener participated in long
jumping, jumping on the high jump pit, and throwing a
plastic junior high javelin, all under the watchful eyes
of the high school track team.
Afterwards, each student received an lone Track
& Field t-shirt from Coach Rudolf.

Boardman recently welcomed Arian Kargar, D.O. as staff
physician.
Kargar studied biochemistry at Washington State
University where she met her husband, Malcom Towns-
ley. After graduation, Kargar attended California State
University and worked for two years as a biochemist. She
and her husband both attended University of Medicine and
Dentistry o f New Jersey with Kargar attending the School
of Osteopathic Medicine.
Kargar has worked for the past 10 years in private
practice in Pendleton.
