I want to thank all the nurs es in the ER and the hospital for taking real good care of me. Thank you Dr. Anderson for being there on Easter eve. I do remember you looked real tired. You sent me off to St. Anthony’s and they flew me off'to OHSU in Portland. I want to thank Fr. Condon for keeping an eye on Ted, and a brown bag he gave us. Thanks to my nephew Jerry Hamer, for helping out his Uncle Ted. Thanks to Meals on Wheels for keeping food in the refrigerator. I really want to thank Gayle Arbogast and Judy Aaron for coming to Portland to pick me up, since they asked me at the hospital if I could go back home by Greyhound and I didn’t have any clothes. The ambulance picked me up here with just my nightgown. But, I really want to thank you two for get ting lost in Portland for me. There are some nice people here. I want to thank the Altar Society at St. Patrick’s Church for all they did. We had an ex cellent meal. I really want to say thank you again. I really was sick.
