Admiration expressed for Heppner’s support of athletes and students Too much time may have passed, but I can’t let go o f wanting to express my admiration for Heppner’s display o f support for their athletes and students. While at the state championship football game in Hillsboro, my Heppner pride was bursting at the seams, not only for the football team but also for the great tunes being performed by a talented team of band members. 1 was also impressed with the increased number of students involved in band - bravo to the great leadership. All is a tribute to the dedicated parents, teachers and coaches that encourage and support these outstanding students. My heart will always be split between Heppner and the big city.
