Heppner, Oregon Wednesday, November 21, 2007 - FIVE Sheriff's Report The Morrow County Sheriff's Office reports han dling the following busi ness: Oct. 10: -MCSO received a report of a ve hicle rollover. The reporter stated that he looked for 15 minutes but could not find anyone. He also stated that there were firearms in the vehicle and the vehicle was partly blocking the road. -M CSO was in formed that a juvenile was caught on video shoplifting a toy gun. -MCSO received a report of the theft of an AC unit and pump from a well. -MCSO received a report of a battery stolen out of a truck. -MCSO received a 911 hang up call. -MCSO was notified that someone had changed the reporter’s address at his bank so the reporter was not getting his direct deposits. -MCSO received a report of a male subject jumping in front of traffic on 1-84. MCSO responded and advised the subject that if he continued he would be arrested. -M CSO was in formed that a male subject had been arrested by Marion County on a Morrow Coun ty Circuit Court warrant for grand jury indictment. Original charges were three counts of theft in the first de gree and one count of theft in the second degree. -MCSO issued a ci tation to a male subject for violation of the basic rule by going 75 mph in a 55 mph zone. -MCSO issued a ci tation to a male subject for failure to change address on ODL. The subject was also warned for failure to wear seat belt. -MCSO received a complaint of three labs run ning in the neighborhood. The reporter believes they belong to his neighbor. The owner was given a warning for having dogs at large. -MCSO was notified of a suspicious looking male hanging around an alley. MCSO was unable to locate anyone. -MCSO received a 911 hang up. The call was determined to be a misdial. -MCSO received two 911 hang ups from a cell phone. -BPD was notified of an unwanted person refusing to leave the Boardman Park and Marina. -BPD arrested a male subject on an Irrigon Justice Court warrant for failure to appear/DUII. -BPD arrested a male subject for Grand Jury Indictment for theft I and criminal conspiracy. -Boardman Ambu lance received a call regard ing a 34 year old male with an altered mental status suffering from severe head aches. -Boardman Ambu lance responded to a 16 year old male with a back injury. Oct. 11:-MCSO re ceived a 911 hang up. -MCSO issued a ci tation to Marisela Mendoza Guzman, 21, for no Oregon operator’s license. -MCSO was noti fied by UPD that a male subject was reporting that he believes his wife has been kidnapped. The vic tim later returned home and advised that she was not kidnapped. -An MCSO deputy was flagged down by a per son who saw a semi truck pull a wire off the power line. Columbia Basin was notified and sent to repair it. -MCSO arrested a male subject for sex abuse 1 and sex abuse II. -MCSO was notified that OSP had arrested Daniel Alston, 38, on an Irrigon Justice Court warrant for failure to complete alcohol education. -MCSO was notified that a female subject had backed her car into a Mid Columbia Bus in front of Murray’s Drug Store. -MCSO was notified by a female subject that her daughter-in-law was ne glecting her horses and other animals on her property. -MCSO received a report of a loud bang that sounded like a bomb at the west bound rest area. The reporter advised that a male subject was lying on the ground and had been knocked off his feet from a tire exploding. The subject was conscious and breathing but not able to walk.
