This fall Ashley w ill
be a sophomore at Riverside
Junior/Senior High School.
She is a member o f National
Honor Society and played
on the JV basketball team.
She participates in the 4-H
with horse and steer proj­
ects. clothing construction
and fashion revue. She is
also a member o f the Irrigon
High School FFA club.

ergy,” w ith former Heppner
resident Nathan Johnson,
will perform on Friday, Au­
gust 17, from 4-6 p.m.

Johnson, 17, has played bass
guitar for three years. He
became interested in mu­
sic when he was in Wendy
Appleton's fifth-grade band
class in Heppner. Since then
he has moved to Tigard and,
along w ith other members of
the band, plays in the Tigard
High School guitar class. El­
liott Hocker, 16, also plays
guitar. He has been playing
guitar for tw o years. He
started playing piano and
trumpet in fifth grade and
currently plays the French
horn. He also enjoys writing
songs for the band. M ar­
cus Williams, 18, a recent
graduate from Tigard High
School, has played guitar
for three years and also
enjoys w riting songs for
the band. Autumn Briggs,
17, also a recent graduate
from Tigard High School,
plays guitar and sings vocal
when needed. She has been
