District 5 play with an 18-1
win over the Pilot Rock
Rockets capping off a 21-0
record in league play on
Tuesday, May 15. The
Mustangs, now 22-3 overall,
played the Nestucca Bobcats
in Heppner on Tuesday. May
22 in the first round of the

winner will face the winner
of Umpqua Valley Christian-
Joseph on Friday, May 25,
at a site to be determined.
The Mustangs got
on the board early against

choice; Quinn Peck singled;
Andre Rauch walked; Nacho
Elguezabal hit a sac fly;
Bryan Holland walked as
Peck scored on a wild pitch;
Jared Huddleston walked;
Nathan Kennedy and Colton
Hanson both walked with
the bases loaded to force in
runs and Chance Day scored
two with a single to make it
6 - 0 .
They added three
more in the second when
Rauch walked and ended up
scoring as Elguezabal
reached on an error; Holland
singled; Kennedy walked;
Hanson had an RBI single;
and Day walked to force in
a run. The Mustangs made
it 10-1 in the third when
Peck walked and ended up
scoring on an Elguezabal
single.
Eight more runs in
the fourth put the game aw ay
as Day dou b led ; Peck
reached on an error; Josh
Shank walked; two runs
scored as E lguezabal
reached on an error; Holland
reached on a fielder's choice;
Drew Johnson and Kennedy
had RBI singles; Hanson
walked; and Day completed
a great day at the plate with
a grand slam homerun to left
field.

innings striking out eight and
allow ing no hits with
Kennedy pitching a perfect
fifth to complete the no
hitter.
Day went 3-3 with a
double, homerun and seven
