Forty-three kids partici pated in the program this year, • and the brand new track was just awesome! We continue to appreciate all who had a hand in making our track possible. At mid-season, we spon sored a Jog A Thon, with each student running a mile to two miles for pledges. Those efforts brought in $2300 to buy much needed equipment. We thank all of you that sponsored the kids in this fund raiser! Throughout the season, our parents help with an event at each meet, and then helped put on the Heppner/ lone Invite at our new track on May 4. C oncessions were available that day, and at the conclusion of the meet, a team celebration potluck was held with Alita Nelson chairing both activities. Our team would like to thank all those parents, school staff and others that came forward to help in the above activities. Kathi Dickenson, Terry and Barb Moore.
