WCCC to host scramble The Willow Creek Country Club will host an 18-hole spring scramble on Saturday, April 21. Registra tion will begin at 8 a.m. and tee time is at 9 a.m. Each team may con sist of up to four members. Bring a team or players will be paired up at time of reg istration. The Huskies came back with two runs in the bottom half, two in the second and one more in the third before the Mustangs finally scored again in the fifth. Kenny walked. Peck singled, Andre Rauch reached on a fielder’s choice, and Nacho Elguezabal grounded out to score Ken- ny. In the sixth, Wacy Coil singled and Day and Peck were both hit by pitch es. With two out. Coil and day both scored when a wild pitch went to the backstop and the catcher could not find the ball. Rauch then sin gled home Peck to tie the game, Elguezabal reached on an infield hit, Nathan Kennedy was hit by a pitch to load the bases then Drew Johnson was hit by a pitch to force in a run. Coil walked to force in another to make it 7-5. The Huskies scored a run in the bottom half to cut the lead to one but Day came on in the seventh to strike out three straight to earn the save. Kennedy came on in relief of Rauch in the third to pick up the win striking out five, allowing two runs on three hits. Coil went 2-3 with Peck and Rauch each going 2-4.
