surveillance within the zone
and will also monitor the
perim eter of these zones.
The cameras will connect
through the district’s fiber to
a central server running
software which is accessible
via the internet. The system
is expandable to up to 50
cameras per server.
A ccording
to
inform ation supplied by
Intermountain Technology,
the cameras, on a normal

predetermined position and
record to the server when
motion is detected. In the
event of an emergency, a
school official, public safety

cameras through the Internet
to exam ine the situation.
They can then take control
of the camera to zoom in and
identify students, staff, and
perpetrators and can even
zoom in to read license
plates.
