TEN • Heppner Gazette-Times. Heppner, Oregon Wednesday, November 15,2006 Sheriff's Report The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office reports han dling the following business: MCSO. Boardman Police Dept, received a 9 1 1 call from a female juvenile in Boardman. Dispatch could hear a female yelling in the background. The fem ale juvenile said, "Okay, sorry,” and hung up Units were dispatched for a possible disturbance. On call back a female juvenile advised that someone attempted to choke her near an apartment. MCSO received a report from a caller near Boardman o f a non-injury motor vehicle accident; the driver hit a deer. M CSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon of a suspicious vehicle in the area o f the park. It was d eterm in ed to be the u n d e rsh e riff w ho was w atching a group o f juveniles walking in and out of traffic. M CSO , H eppner Fire Dept, received a report from a caller in Heppner that a male subject was stuck in the elevator at the senior center. M CSO received a rep o rt from a c a lle r in Heppner that approximately 15-20 high school students w ere o u tsid e the Shell station asking people to buy them beer. M CSO received a rep o rt from a c a lle r in Heppner of a building with lig h ts on at the K inzua millsitc. It was determined to be the w elding shop; the owner left a light on in the building. M CSO received a report of a suspicious vehicle with no plates by Patterson Ferry. The vehicle was unlocked w ith the keys inside; there was no documentation of ownership in the vehicle and the VIN number was not located in any state. The vehicle was tagged for towing and was subsequently vandalized. D e v in ’s Tow was dispatched. MCSO, Boardman P olice D ept, receiv ed a report from a caller of an audible panic alarm at a residence in Boardman. The alarm company called the hom e and spoke to the o w n e r's grandson w ho would not give a name. The grandson was contacted at the home and it was determined the grandparents were not home. MCSO received a report from the Baker City Police Dept, that Clifford Lee Parker, 21, was arrested on an irrigon Justice Court warrant for Failure to Pay Fine/DUlI. He was lodged at the Baker County Jail on local charges with holds placed for Morrow County. MCSO. Boardman P olice D ept, re c eiv e d a report from a caller in Irrigon that someone is attempting to break into the residence. A suspect, possibly two suspects, attempted to get in through the front door, then went to the back door, then returned to the front door. B oardm an P olice Dept received a report from a caller in Boardman of a d o m estic situ a tio n in progress; a female subject was on the line crying then hung up. O fficers w ere dispatched. On call-back, the female subject said she was fighting with her husband and wanted him to leave. It was d eterm in ed to be a verbal dispute only; the husband left the residence. N ov. 1: M CSO received a report a caller at the Shell station in Heppner of a $10 drive-off. MCSO, Irrigon Fire Dept., Irrigon Ambulance received a report from a caller at the Irrigon Bank of E astern O regon that the power went out and when it came back on there was a very strong odor of burning wires. The caller said the smell was getting stronger and stronger. MCSO received a rep o rt from a c a lle r in Heppner that the neighbor is letting dogs out into her yard to go to the bathroom. The caller’s husband talked to the neighbor but it doesn’t seem to be getting resolved. The caller requested a contact be made to the owner of the dog. M CSO received a report from a c a lle r in H erm iston that som eone broke into his place. Deputy contact was requested. MCSO deputy cited Jackie Steve Newsome, 62, for Driving while License Suspended Violation. MCSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon that two items were taken from the back of his pickup while it was parked at his residence. MCSO deputy cited Octavio Roberto Dovalle, Jr., 30, for Driving while L icense Suspended Violation. M CSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon of a male and female who were attempting to cash a check that the caller believed was forged. MCSO, Boardman P olice D ept, receiv ed a report from a caller in Irrigon that a m ale subject in a stretch limo pulled into the caller’s driveway and was peeling out and throwing rocks. The caller advised she knew the limo was stolen. David Elton Truitt, 28, was arrested on a H erm iston Police Dept, w arrant for Failure to Appear/Disorderly Conduct II, Giving False Information to the Police and Resisting Arrest. He was also cited for No Operator’s L icense and D riving Uninsured. B oardm an Police Dept, officer cited Tamara Mae Hyder, 30, for Violation of the Speed Limit, 52 mph in a 30 mph zone. B oardm an Police Dept, received a report from a caller in Boardman of two juvenile males fighting at the high sch o o l; they w ere currently in the principal’s office. Each juvenile was cited for D iso rd erly Conduct. B oardm an P olice Dept, received a report from a caller in Boardman of kids playing outside with toy guns and there was no adult supervision. B oardm an P olice Dept, officer cited Martin Rizo Sanchez, 51, for Failure to Stop B efore E ntering R oadw ay and D riving Uninsured. Irrigon am bulance received a report from a caller in Irrigon of a subject with heart problems, a high pulse and high blood pressure. Heppner ambulance received a report from a caller in Heppner of a male subject in a cold sweat and passing out. Nov. 2: M CSO , B oardm an P o lice D ept, received a report from a caller on 1-84 westbound that he was follow ing a vehicle that stole gasoline. M CSO received a rep o rt from a c a lle r in Heppner that an object was shot with a shot gun last night. M CSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon that Hispanic children threw rocks at her cat and broke its leg. A deputy contact was requested. MCSO deputy cited Robert William Stuck, 38, for Violation of the Basic Rule, 68 mph in a 55 mph zone. M CSO a ssisted O regon State P olice in re c o v erin g som e sto len property at a residence in Irrigon. MCSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon that someone entered his residence and stole his shot gun and a rifle. The house had been gone through. MCSO received a report from a caller o f a vehicle all over the road on Highway 730/county line, possibly a drunk driver. The vehicle was stopped and it was determined the driver was tired. B oardm an P olice Dept, received a report from a caller at a business in Boardman that the office was broken into sometime last night. Officer contact was requested. B oardm an P olice Dept, received a report from a caller in Boardman that som eone sm ashed her pickup windshield sometime last night. B oardm an P olice Dept, received a report from a caller in Boardman that a teen ag e fem ale was b a b y sittin g tw o sm all ju v e n ile m ales in the residence across the street. The babysitter was sitting on one of the males and he was crying. B oardm an P olice Dept., Boardman ambulance received a report from a caller in Boardman that a male subject was having chest pains. B oardm an P o lice Dept, officer cited Carrie A llyn Sam pson, 22, for F ailu re to O bey T raffic Control Device. B oardm an Fire Dept., Boardman ambulance responded to a motor vehicle accid en t w ith in ju ries involved on Highway 730/ Bombing Range Road.____ Nov. ^ 5 : -M C SO receiv ed a report that a su sp ic io u s v eh icle was parked at the m arina in Irrigon with its headlights on. The vehicle was told to move along. -MCSO received a rep o rt that a b o y frien d threatened a female subject in B oardm an. M CSO assisted BPD on the call about the verbal domestic. The boyfriend was currently gone, no w eapons were involved, but drugs and alcohol were. -M C SO and BPD responded to a burglary alarm at the Spud Cellar. It was a false alarm; employees forgot to turn of the alarm when entering. -MCSO received a rep o rt that U m atilla PD arrested Joshua Gagnon, 29, on a failing to pay fine for initiating a false report. -MCSO received a theft complaint that involved tw o sco o ters and a tarp stolen from the reporter’s residence in Irrigon. -MCSO received a report about a juvenile in Irrigon that was using a four- w heeler on a turkey run North of California. -MCSO received a report that a 37-year-old male subject in Irrigon was injured on the three-wheeler. -MCSO received a report about a possible drive off in Heppner. The call was later cancelled; the money was found. -MCSO received a report about a male subject in Boardman who smelled of alcohol when he picked up his children. He later was driving and swerving all over the road. -MCSO received a report about a stepdaughter in Irrigon that had to return to the s te p m o th e r’s residence and was afraid to do so. There was possible drug activity and domestic violence in the home. -MCSO received a relayed report from a caller in B oardm an reg ard in g telephone harassment. -MCSO received a rep ort from a c a lle r in Heppner that a vehicle ran into a fence. The driver dislodged the vehicle from the fence; there were no in ju ries but th ere was property damage. A male subject was cited for Driving while License Suspended v io latio n and D riving U ninsured w ith M otor Vehicle Accident-Property Damage. The vehicle was impounded. -M C SO , Irrigon ambulance received a report from a caller in Irrigon that a female subject was possibly having a gran mal seizure. The subject calmed down and the seizure stopped. The patient was transported to Good Shepherd M edical Center in Hermiston. The caller requested a deputy contact regarding telephone harassment that set off the seizure. -A female subject came to the Irrigon Fire Hall to report a possible domestic situation; another female subject called her to advise there was a problem and a male subject took a vehicle. M CSO and B oardm an Police Dept, responded. -B oardm an Police Dept, officer arrested Luis Alberto M artinez, 19, for DUII. He was cited and released to appear. The vehicle was impounded. -B oardm an Police Dept, received a report from a caller in Boardman of a verbal dom estic dispute between a male subject and a female subject. The female subject w anted to file a report of trespassing on the male subject. -B oardm an Police Dept, received a report of a burglary alarm at a business in B oardm an. It was determined the employees forgot to turn off the alarm. -B oardm an Police Dept, received a report from a caller in Boardman of a young child running a lawn mower up and down the road. The caller was afraid that the blade would engage. -B oardm an Police Dept, officer cited Joel Luna. 27, for Violation of the Basic Rule, 38 mph in a 25 mph zone. -B oardm an Police Dept, received a report that a ju v en ile m issing from Colorado was located. -B oardm an Police Dept, received a report from a caller in Boardman of loud m usic and n o ise, w ith children and people running around outside and are now headed back inside. Nov. 6: -M C SO received a report that a black Chihuahua had been causing a traffic hazard on Hwy. 730 in Irrigon. The dog was lo cated at the residence and the owner received there last warning and the next time the dog was loose the owner would be issued a citation. -MCSO received a report that the reporter's 13-year-old granddaughter was su p p o sed to be at school at Irrigon Jr./Sr. High School and had not shown up. Ju v en ile was la te r located at her house and had been there. -MCSO received a rep o rt about a p o ssib le disabled vehicle. The subject in the vehicle advised they were looking at free puppies that were on Hwy. 730/W Fourth in Irrigon. -M C SO a rre sted David G ustavo Zaragoza Estrada. 27, for failing to pay fine for d riv in g w hile suspended. -M C SO issu ed a citation to Kiley Gwyn Post, 28, for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.
