October 25, 2006 - SEVEN Sheriff's Report The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office reports han dling the following business: Oct. 13: M CSO cited Juan Rojas Cruz, 38, for Driving Uninsured. -MCSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon statin g that three m ale ju v e n ile s w ere on his p ro p erty looking for something and they were at the end of his driveway and when he approached them they seemed upset at him for being there. No weapons were visible. There were no altercatio n s betw een the juveniles and the caller and they had left the area. -MCSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon that a vehicle caused the caller to pull over to the side of the road and then passed her and ran through the school zone at a high rate of speed, causing several others to have to pull over. The call said she w ould sign a citation. -MCSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon that several cars were parked illegally on Wyoming Street and the caller would like them moved. -MCSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon that a three-w heeler was “hot rodding” up and down the m ain road and on a private drive and throwing gravel. -MCSO stopped two vehicles on 1-84. Artemio Romero, 28, was cited for Violation of the Speed Limit, 80 mph in a 65 mph zone. Mikhy Rae Najera, 26, was cited for Violation of the * Speed Limit, 80 mph in a 65 mph zone. -M C SO cited Katherine Marie Williams, 26, for Violation of the Basic- Rule, 75 mph in a 55 mph zone. -B o ard m an PD re c eiv e d a rep o rt that Michelle Ann Stephens, 33, tu rn ed h e rs e lf in on an Irrigon Ju stic e C ourt warrant for Failure to Pay F in e /D riv in g w hile Suspended m isdemeanor. The subject was lodged at Umatilla County Jail. -Boardman PD cited Laura Elena Claustro, 31. for F a ilu re to Stop w hen E n terin g R oadw ay and Failure to Use Seatbelt on Child x2. -B oardm an PD o ffic e r w as out w ith a suspicious vehicle. Stevan M. H ernandiaz, 32, was arrested for Failure to Carry and P resen t D riv e r’s License. He was also cited for Failure to Use Headlight, No Operator’s License and Driving Uninsured. He was lodged at Umatilla County Jail and the vehicle was impounded. -Irrigon ambulance was standing by at the high school for a gam e. He was lodged at Umatilla County Jail on U m atilla C ounty warrants with holds placed for Morrow County. -MCSO cited Diane W right M alinak, 68, for Violation of the Basic Rule. 72 mph in a 55 mph zone. -MCSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon re g a rd in g the safety o f another subject who was the victim of Assault II with stra n g u la tio n in v o lv ed . Apparently the subject left w ith the su sp ect upon release from the hospital. -MCSO received a rep o rt from a c a lle r in Lexington that a cow dog bit her five-year-old son and broke the skin above his elbow. The caller thought she knew who the dog belonged to or knows where they live. -MCSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon that shots were fired and it sounded like a shotgun.
