Heppner Gazette-Times, Heppner, Oregon Wednesday, September 6,2006 - THREE Sheriff's Report The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office reports han dling the following business: from a caller in Boardman of a possible unlawful bum. MCSO, Irrigon Fire Dept, received a report of a sm all spot fire at the Patterson Ferry Refuge that the caller mostly stomped out but it continued to flare up. B oardm an P olice Dept, received a report from a caller in Boardman of a male and fem ale subject videotaping children on a playground. The call was unfounded. A ug. 28: M CSO received a request for an extra patrol on Highway 730 in the mornings for children crossing the highway. MCSO deputy cited Curtiss Robert Pullum, 38, for Driving while License S u s p e n d e d - V i o la ti o n , D riving U n insured and Failure to Register Vehicle. MCSO received a report of possible theft or fraud from a caller in Irrigon. The caller wanted it logged just in case. MCSO received a request from a c aller in Irrigon for a welfare check on a male subject; his mother had not seen or heard from him in over one year. M CSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon that four juvenile children dumped their bikes on her property, w ere skipping school and were down at the river. The caller wanted a deputy to co n tact the children and rem ove the bikes from the property. MCSO, Boardman and Irrigon am b u lan ces received a report from a caller in Irrigon that a vehicle backed into a pedestrian and the pedestrian had possible arm injuries. MCSO deputy cited Maria Morales, 26, for No O p e ra to r’s L icen se and Failure to Obey a Traffic Control Device. M CSO received a rep o rt from a c a lle r in Portland that he always gets MCSO 911 when he calls his friend's phone number. The caller was advised to contact his phone company. MCSO, Boardman P olice D ept, receiv ed a rep o rt from a c a lle r in Boardman that her sister was being threatened by an 11 year old female who was sent to beat her up at the park. While on the line the sister came home. An officer was going to the location. M CSO received a rep o rt from a c a lle r in B oardm an that there are some children that have been drinking and went home. Two juvenile males were cited for MIP and one was cited for M IP-Furnishing Alcohol. B oardm an Police Dept, received a report from a caller in Boardman that a female subject scratched his vehicle. B oardm an Police Dept, received a relayed rep o rt from a c aller in B oardm an o f a sto len vehicle. An officer contact was requested. B oardm an Police Dept, received a report from a caller in Boardman of a m issing ju v e n ile . The juvenile went to Portland Friday and was suppose to be back on Sunday night, but had yet to come home. The juvenile came home. B oardm an Police Dept, received a report of a custody report from a caller in B oardm an; the c aller w anted to pick up his daughter but his ex-w ife refused to give her up. B oardm an P olice Dept, received a report from a caller in Boardman that a juvenile was assaulted at school. The p arties are separated at the time of the call. B oardm an Police and Fire depts. received a rep o rt from a c a lle r in Boardman of a small brush fire on 1-84 eastbound. The fire dept, responded and was unable to locate the fire. Irrigon Fire Dept, received a report from a c a lle r in Irrig o n that a manure pile was smoldering. S e p t. 2: M CSO, B oardm an P olice D ept, received a report from a c a lle r in B oardm an o f juveniles running around his house trying to take the door off. M CSO received a rep o rt from D eschutes County Sheriff’s Office that Richard Wayne Brumbach, 59, was a rre sted on a M orrow C ounty C ircu it Court warrant for Sexual A buse I and II. He was lodged at the D eschutes County Jail with a Morrow County hold. MCSO deputy cited T im othy A llen, 53, for Violation of the Basic Rule, 72 mph in a 55 mph zone. MCSO deputy cited Benjamin Theodore Carey, 22, for Failure to Maintain Lane/Following too Closely, and warned for Failure to Display Temporary License in Correction Location. M CSO deputy reported someone drinking in a vehicle. The vehicle crashed into some rocks. Jeffrey Wayne Bledsoe, 56, was arrested for DUII (B AC .19). The v eh icle was impounded. B oardm an P olice Dept, officer cited a female subject for Careless Driving. B oardm an Police Dept, received a report from a caller in Boardman that juveniles are stealing pop cans. An officer was unable to lo cate an y th in g ; the sprinklers may have set off the light.
