Wise”
Cardinal Booster Club news
The Cardinal Boost­
er Club met Monday, June 5
at the school library.
The club received a
thank you note from the ten­
nis team for the Gatorade
and water provided them for
district competition. Track
Coach Del LaRue expressed
his appreciation for the re­
freshments, as well as the
club providing a coach bus
and extra meal money for the
athletes going to state. The
leftover water will be avail­
able for sum m er league
home basketball games.
The club voted not
to become involved in pro­
moting Melaleuca products.
Becky Tullis made
adjustments to and complet­
ed the tax-exempt forms.

learned that 12 additional
size adult small 4th of July
t-shirts have been ordered.
Dean Robinson re­
ported the Sports Hall of
Fame constitution is being
drafted. Copies will be made
available for members to re­
view.
The football coach­
es are planning to order
shirts with an lone sport logo
as a fundraiser for their pro­
gram. The Nike shirts will be
available for participants in
the football camp as well as
Cardinal fans. Both children
and adult sizes will be or­
dered. The club approved
buying football p ractice
pants for the high school
team . M em bers also ap ­
proved the purchase of hel­
mets and shoulder pads for
the team if th ere is not
enough money in the foot­
ball budget to cover those
expenses.

the agenda are the W illow Creek Valley Economic
Development Group and the Heppner Power Plant.

Public Broadcasting, begins
at 2 p.m. in Reser Stadium.
Warren Washington,

outgoing chairman of the
prestigious National Science
B oard, w ill give the
commencement address.
