THE MORROW COUNTY
COURT will hold the follow­
ing hearing of public interest on
Wednesday, September 28,
2005, at 10:00 a.m. at the Mor­
row County Courthouse in
Heppner, Oregon.
S u b d ivision Ordinance
Amendment: This will be the
fifth of at least five hearings to
consider changes to Article 5
Land Partitioning o f the
MCSO o f 1980 amended on
November 7, 2001. The pur­
pose of the proposed changes
is to bring the Ordinance into
compliance with Oregon Re­
vised Statute and to provide
better guidance to staff when
processing various land parti­
tioning applications. Criteria
for the amendment is found in
the Morrow County Compre­
hensive Plan and ORS Chap­
ters 92 and 215.
Opportunity to voice support
or opposition to the above pro­
posals or to ask questions will
be provided. Failure to raise an
issue in person or by letter or
failure to provide sufficient
specificity to afford the deci­
sion maker an opportunity to
respond to the issue precludes
appeal to the Land Use Board
of Appeals based on those is­
sues.
