living in different places.”

people at her new position
and says that she someday
may consider teaching. She
is also considering obtaining
more specific training in her
field, although that would
p ro b ab ly be “ som etim e
down the road” .

Slaughter Gerking and Mart
Braden Gerking of Ritter.
Clark grew up on the
family cattle and horse ranch
near Ritter. He attended
school at Three Mile, Ritter
and Althena. He served in
the U.S. Army during WNVII.
Upon his return he continued
ranching. He owned and
operated one of his father’s
ranches near Ritter. He sold
out and moved to Hermiston
about 1962.
He

Geraldine Kincaid June 15,
1972,
at
P ro sser,
NVashington.Together they
liv ed at H erm isto n and
Dayville, Oregon. He later
moved from Dayville back to
H erm isto n and then to
H eppner w here he m ost
recently lived.
In his early years,
Clark liked to fish and hunt.
He did enjoy reading and
visiting w ith fam ily and
friends.
He was proceeded in
death by both parents and
wife, Geraldine.
He is survived by
one sister, Betty A. Roach of
