IMS “A” team girls lose at Arlington Rockets

School girls’ “A” team took
on the Arlington Goslings on
home turf on Friday, Feb 4.
In the first quarter,
both team s scored tw o
points each. In the second
quarter, the Cardinals scored
two points and the Goslings
scored four points, leaving
the score at halftime 6-4, the
Goslings having a two-point
lead. In the third quarter, the
Cardinals scored two points
again, but the G oslings
scored four points, with a
slight lead. In the fourth
quarter, both teams scored
four points, leaving the final
score at 14-10, the Goslings
with the win
The Cardinals’ top
scorer was Brenna Rietmann
with four points Tori Heagy,
H eather W iggers, and
Stefanie Archer all scored
two points each
“The A team played
really good defense, but just
couldn’t get the ball to drop
in on the offensive side,” said
Coach Lynn Dee Ramos.
“They worked hard all four
quarters.”

The Mustangs came
