Adopt-a-Teacher receives donation
from local churches
Hope Lutheran, with help from Valhy Lutheran and All Saints'
Episcopal churches donated $500 to the Adopt-A-Teacher
foundation. The donation was made in part from the dinner at
the high school as well as matching funds from the Lutheran
Thrivent Financial organization. (L-R): Chris Rauch and Shelli
Britt, both of Hope Lutheran, presented the donation to Jeannie
Collins of the Adopt-A-Teacher foundation.

They later divorced.
Hedman lived in the
Pilot Rock area where he
raised cattle for 17 years
before moving to Union,
where he worked as a fence

season worked for Bechtold
Construction
He was a member of
the Elks Lodge and the
United Methodist Church
He w as an avid
outdoorsm an who loved
fishing and hunting and the
mountain
Survivors include

She retired in 1971 from the
retail fashion business.
The Larsens love of
trav el kept them busy
throughout the years, taking
several trip s a year and
extended trips to Ireland,
England and New Zealand,
besides the O regon and
California coasts. Including
her love o f travel, she was
an amazing gourmet cook,
entertaining many friends
and family throughout the
years In their early marriage,
the couple belonged to a
sp o rts car club and
participated in car rallies in
the Eugene and surrounding
area
Their open hearts
helped a niece and nephew
further their education at the
University o f Oregon

that the same witnesses are
required for each case and
that the alleged criminal acts
involved the same victims
Rietmann’s attorney,
Jonathan G Ash, filed a
response in opposition to the
motion, arguing that because
his client was only alleged to
be involved in one incident
