TEN - Heppner Gazette-Times, Heppner, Oregon Wednesday, November 3, 2004 Sheriff's Report The Morrow Countv Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) re ports handling the following business: J u l y 13: M CSO received a report from a caller in Heppner that kids from an apartment took a tire from the back o f her car and put it in front o f another apartment A deputy was unable to locate any tire -MCSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon th at she is receiving harassing phone calls from a female subject -MCSO deputy cited a male subject for Violation of the Speed Limit, 84 mph in a 65 mph zone -MCSO received a rep o rt from a caller o f hearing the sound o f breaking glass It was determined to be a broken bottle -MCSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon o f tw o subjects fighting across the street A warning was given -MCSO received a request for a deputy contact from a caller in Irrigon regarding a male subject who keeps contacting the caller against her wishes. The m ale subject was advised not to contact the caller -MCSO received a report o f a bull out at a location in Irrigon -MCSO received a 911 call from a caller in Boardman; the caller hung up befo re the call was answered Dispatch called the residence back and spoke with a male subject who advised a juvenile subject w as out o f co n tro l and accusing a female subject of hitting him A deputy was requested to speak to the juvenile. -MCSO received a report from the Hermiston Police Dept that Ruth Margarita Bernal, 24, was arrested on an Irrigon Justice Court warrant for Failure to Pay F in e/D riv in g w hile License Suspended Bernal was cited to appear -MCSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon that she signed up for a dog obedience class and paid, but when she went to the location, no one was there -MCSO, Boardman Police D ept, received a report that a car fell off its trailer on the 1-84 eastbound off-ramp in Boardman It was partially blocking the road -MCSO, Boardman Police D ept received a request for an officer contact from a caller in Boardman regarding fraud -MCSO received a re p o rt from a caller in Heppner that her dog bit a young child and broke the skin -MCSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon that a fem ale subject is coming to the caller’s work and she has a restraining order against the caller -MCSO received a re p o rt from a caller in H eppner o f a suspicious vehicle parked behind the Post Office -MCSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon who wanted to sign a driving complaint on a vehicle -B oardm an Police D ept officer cited Jose L om bera Tapia, 45, for D riving w hile L icense Suspended I -MCSO received a re p o rt from a caller at Huwe’s Has It All in Irrigon that a vehicle drove off without paying The vehicle was stopped in Umatilla and returned to pay. -MCSO, Boardman Fire Dept received a report from a caller from the UPRR at the Hinkle station o f a car smoldering on the west side o f Patterson Ferry Units were unable to locate the vehicle J u l y 14: M CSO deputy cited Jam es C. Fennewald, 18, for Violation o f the Speed Limit, 84 mph in a 65 mph zone -MCSO received a request for a deputy contact from a caller in Irrigon regarding a female neighbor who is threatening to beat her up It is an on-going problem now involving the children o f both parties -MCSO received a request for an ambulance from a caller in Boardman for a 46-year-old male who had tingling in both arms and was not feeling well The patient was transported to G ood Shepherd M edical Center in Hermiston -MCSO received a request for a deputy contact from a caller in Irrigon regarding additional items discovered stolen from a burglary rep o rted tw o m onths ago The caller needed a list made for the insurance company -MCSO received a request for a deputy contact from a caller regarding her grandmother’s step-children taking item s out o f her residence in Irrigon It was determ ined to be a civil matter -MCSO, Boardman Police D ept received a report o f a panic alarm; it was determined to be a false alarm -MCSO deputy cited Nancy Bernice Wood, 62, for Violation of the Speed Limit, 74 mph in a 55 mph zone -MCSO received a walk-in report at the Irrigon Justice C o u rt; the male subject reported that his bike had been stolen -MCSO received a report from a caller at the Chevron station in Heppner o f a possible dom estic disturbance in progress and a man was pulling a bag out It was determined all was okay. -MCSO deputy cited Joshua Lewis Hill, 22, for Violation o f the Basic Rule, 68 mph in a 45 mph zone -MCSO received a request for a deputy contact from a caller in Heppner regarding buying a camper with a post-dated check and now rumors are being spread that the check bounced when it didn’t -MCSO received a rep o rt o f a vehicle on Highway 730 westbound, milepost 177, that didn’t have any plates or temporary tags -MCSO, Boardman Police D ept received a report o f an alarm at the Boardm an Banner Bank The alarm was determined to be set off by accident and all was okay -MCSO, Boardman Police D ept received a relayed report from a caller in Boardman o f a vehicle speeding through Desert Springs Estate An officer was unable to locate the vehicle -MCSO received a rep o rt from a caller in H eppner th at her ex boyfriend is yelling at her and taking her stuff from the apartment -MCSO, Boardman Police Dept received a rep o rt o f tw o vehicles driving e rra tic a lly and throw ing sparks on 1-84 westbound, from milepost 170 O ne vehicle was possibly tow ing another vehicle -M C SO , O regon S tate Police, B oardm an Police D ept received a report o f a very large Great Dane running in traffic on 1- 84 milepost 164 (approx ) and going betw een the eastbound and westbound lanes -MCSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon that her 15-year-old daughter has run away again and left about 15 minutes ago The ju v e n ile cam e home. „ „ J u l y 15: M CSO deputy contacted a male subject regarding suspicious activity. -MCSO, Boardman Police D ept received a re p o rt from a caller in Boardman o f two dogs loose in th e v icin ity o f the B oardm an C om m unity Church -MCSO received a relayed report from a caller in Heppner regarding a male subject getting kicked out of an apartment by the manager and then barging into the apartment and taking the TV and stereo -MCSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon that his friend told him he saw the frame o f his bike that he reported stolen -MCSO, Boardman am bulance receiv ed a relayed report from Crook County that a female subject on 1-84 westbound, milepost 154, was burned on the arm by radiator steam A tow truck was requested The patient was transported to G ood Shepherd M edical Center in Hermiston. -MCSO, Boardman Police D ept received a report from the Boardman Shell station o f a $30 25 drive-off that occurred an hour before The vehicle came back. -MCSO received a relayed report from Grant County that a male subject and his two grandchildren were stuck off USFS road 2105 south of Penland Lake The subjects were located -MCSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon that their house was broken into while they were gone and items were taken -MCSO received a report that a man riding a horse ran into a vehicle There w as a language b arrier The vehicle had minor damage There was no injury to the horse or rider -MCSO received a report from Huwe’s Has It All o f a drive-off o f $10. -MCSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon o f a loud party; the caller requested the deputy ask them to keep it down J u l y 16: MCSO received a request for a welfare check from a caller on her grandchildren staying with a female subject in Heppner. The grandchildren were okay -MCSO received a report from the Hermiston Police Dept that Herbert Hill, 25, was arrested on an Irrigon Ju stice C ourt warrant for Failure to Pay Fine He was cited to appear -MCSO received a rep o rt from the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office that N oah J. Bird, 21, was arrested on a M orrow C ounty C ircuit C ourt w arrant for P robation Violation He was lodged at the Lincoln County Jail -Boardm an Police Dept officer cited Kyle R Carson, 20, for Defective Equipment and MIP -MCSO received a report that Terrence Alcott Wilson, 28, was arrested on a M orrow County Circuit C o u rt w arrant for Possession o f a Controlled Substance The subject was already lodged at the Umatilla County Jail -MCSO deputy cited Celso Cortes Velazquez, 33, for No Operator’s License, Defective Equipment and Violation o f the Speed Limit, 82 mph in a 65 mph zone The vehicle was impounded -M C SO , ODFW received a report from a caller in Heppner who found an injured or sick deer The deer was currently in their kennel ODFW was advised. -MCSO, Boardman Police D ept, received a request for information from USCO reg ard in g tw o subjects who were possibly staying at the Boardman RV Park The m other o f one subject re p o rte d them missing; she hadn’t heard from them in two months -MCSO received a req u est from the Salem Police Dept to attempt to locate a male subject in Irrigon; the subject had absconded from warrants. -MCSO received a report from the Hermiston Police D ept that Jam es Benjamin Murray, 31, was arrested on a M orrow C ounty C ircuit C o u rt w arrant for Contem pt o f Court/Parole Violation The subject was released to appear -MCSO received a report that a vehicle parked behind Les Schw ab in Heppner is there to have its brakes w orked on; the vehicle had been allowed to park where it is. -MCSO received a request to attempt to locate to Oregon, Washington and Idaho, a male subject who was to meet a subject in Boardman but didn’t show up. The male subject was in Hermiston and all was okay. -MCSO, Boardman Police D ept received a request for an officer to respond from a caller at the R iv erfro n t L odge in Boardman for a disgruntled employee that was just fired All was okay. -MCSO deputy cited a male subject for Violation o f the Basic Rule, 95 mph in a 55 mph zone, No O p e ra to r’s L icense, No Insurance and Failure to Display Out o f State Plate The vehicle was impounded. -MCSO received a request for a deputy contact from a caller in Irrigon regarding a report from a burglary that occurred at the caller’s residence. -MCSO received a report from a caller o f a tire in the middle of the right lane on 1-84 between mileposts 162-163 A d eputy was unable to locate the tire -MCSO received a request for the Boardman ambulance to meet the caller at the ambulance hall; there was a patient and the ambulance was experiencing m ech an ical difficulty. Another vehicle made the transport -MCSO received a report from a caller o f a birthday party with a live band that would be held later. The neighbors were notified -MCSO received a report from a caller that a male subject violated his restraining order by calling his son -MCSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon that a male subject assaulted a female subject on Highway 730 The parties separated -MCSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon I th^t his neighbor, angry about the caller’s dogs, came over to his residence -MCSO deputy cited William Scotte Perry, 31, for Violation o f the Speed Limit, 84 mph in a 55 mph zone -MCSO deputy cited Troy Michael McGowan, 55, for Possession o f Less than One Oz Marijuana and Violation o f the Basic Rule, 66 mph in a 45 mph zone -MCSO received a request from a caller for a welfare check on his two children who were with their mother in Heppner -MCSO received a request for a deputy contact from a caller in Irrigon reg ard in g her neighbor wanting to shoot her cat. -MCSO deputy cited Jose A ntonio R am irez Tejada, 24, for Violation o f the Basic Rule, 78 mph in a 55 mph zone -M C SO deputy arrested Chaunesy Lynn Allen, 33, on a M orrow C ounty C ircuit C o u rt warrant for Parole Violation/ Possession o f a Controlled Substance and also arrested on a U m atilla C ounty warrant Allen was lodged at the Umatilla County Jail. -MCSO received a re p o rt from a caller in B oardm an that a male subject is harassing them -MCSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon o f seeing a peeping tom yesterday and today. The subject was no longer in the area -MCSO received a report from Huwe’s Has It All in Irrigon that several subjects were hanging out in their parking lot and the sto re is closing It was determined to be a disabled vehicle. -MCSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon that a male subject was detained by her husband in their stock pen Dennis M. Williams, 25, for Criminal Trespass II -MCSO received a report from Hermiston PD that Timothy Dale Stacy, 19, w as arrested on Irrigon Justice Court warrant for Contempt o f Court. -M C SO cited Wendie Cadek, 33, for No Operator’s License and No Insurance. -M C SO , OSP, Irrigon and Boardman Fire D epartm ents and Irrigon ambulance received a report o f a one-car rollover with injuries on Hwy. 740 east of Irrigon A subject was trapped and after recovery was transported to Good Shepherd Medical Center in Hermiston -MCSO received a report from ADT over an alarm activation at Riverside High School in Boardman It was determ ined to be unfounded and the building was secure -B oardm an PD received a report from a caller in Boardman that a vehicle was stolen overnight An attempt to locate was issued -MCSO received a request for deputy contact from the Irrigon 76 Station regarding a subject being on the property that was not allowed to be there -MCSO received a request for deputy contact from a caller in lone regarding a subject driving a vehicle through lone who is suspended -MCSO received a report from a subject that he forgot his file folder at the Irrigon 76 Station which passing th ro u g h that m orning D eputies were unable to locate the folder -Boardman PD and am bulance received a request for an ambulance for a 30- to 32-year-old male who had a broken foot. The subject was transported to G ood Shepherd M edical Center in Hermiston -MCSO, Irrigon FD received a report o f a fire on the south side o f Hwy 730 -M C SO , H eppner am bulance receiv ed a request for an ambulance for a 94-year-old female who had fallen The subject was tra n sp o rte d to Pioneer M em orial H o sp ital in Heppner -MCSO cited Mario Mendoza Calvillo, 41, for Failure to Carry P ro o f o f Insurance -MCSO received a report o f a vehicle fire on I- 84 at milepost 173 There was no one in the vehicle and it was non-blocking The fire was put out and the vehicle was towed -MCSO received a report from Portland PD that Lenoriann Lynda Lilienthal, 31, was a rre sted on a M orrow C ounty C ircuit Court warrant for Theft II and P o ssessio n o f a Controlled Substance II. Bail was set at $20,000 and the subject w as lodged at Multnomah County Jail -M C SO cited Noralba Ramirez Muniz, 19, for Careless Driving. -M C SO cited Shawna Faye Hahn, 34, for Failure to Carry P ro o f o f Registration -MCSO received a report o f a disabled vehicle on 1-84. There appeared to be a female subject with a child -MCSO received a 911 hang up call from B oardm an. It w as determined to be a misdial. -MCSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon that she had a confrontation with another female at the Irrigon 76 Station. -MCSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon that kids are driving past his residence yelling obscenities at his son. -B oardm an police officer reported that he was flagged down for a report of telephonic harassment. J u l y 19: M CSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon that a female subject was walking in the roadway on Hwy. 730 east o f Irrigon. -MCSO received a report from ADT o f an alarm at the Nomad Restaurant in B oardm an. It was determ ined to be a false alarm. -MCSO received a report from ADT o f an alarm at Heppner High School. It was determ ined that the alarm was set o ff by an employee -MCSO received a re p o rt from a c aller in Heppner that her neighbor has been yelling at her small children playing outside -MCSO received a re p o rt from a c aller in B oardm an o f a boat tre sp a sse r on th e C arty Reservoir just south o f the Coal Fire Plant. -MCSO received a request for deputy contact regarding possible horse neglect -MCSO received a report that a woman was locked in the public restroom at Heppner City Park The c aller called back and advised that the woman was able to get out. -M C SO receiv ed re p o rt from a caller in Boardman that her dog was missing and asked if anyone calls stating they found a black lab that her phone number be given to them (
