The scores were 25-6 and 25-7. The A team played sim ilarly. U sing great team w ork w ith som e excellent serving and vollies, they won their match in two gam es w ithout pressure Their scores were 25-7 and 25-15. The Ponies play A, B and C teams against Athena at the Heppner Elementary School gym at 3 p.m on T hursday, Oct. 22. The teams will then split up for th e ir season ending tournaments Saturday, Oct 23. The A team will play at home at the high school beginning at 10 a m and the B team will play in Athena- Weston. This talented group o f 12 and 13 year olds, under the direction o f Peg Willis o f by Lorus Pendleton, play not only their fiddles, but between them, they also perform on string bass, guitar, mandolin, penny w histle, Canadian spoons and keyboard Brynna Rust also performs as vocalist for the group The concert is free of charge. This class is required for providers wishing to becom e registered or to qualify fo r. th e DHS enhanced rate.
