Heppner as a community service project.
A group of 26 young
people, ages 13 to 18, and
five leaders, traveled to
H eppner as p art of a
m issions-based program
called Target Oregon. Youth
th ro u g h o u t O regon jo in
together and then travel to
rural communities to help
out local churches and the
community. The youth who
visited Heppner were from
ch u rch es in W inston,
Junction City and Silverton.
