The Morrow County
Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) re­
ports handling the following
business:
-MCSO received a
request for a deputy contact
in Irrigon regarding a custody
dispute.
-MCSO received a
report from the Union County
Sheriff's Office of a non-injury
motor vehicle accident on
USFS Road 5327. It was a
non-blocking accident.
-MCSO, Boardman
Police Dept, received a report
from a caller in Boardman that
two suspicious vehicles were
parked next to her residence.
The vehicles left at a high rate
of speed.
-MCSO received a
report from Hermiston Police
Dept, that Amber L. Wilson,
20, was arrested on an Irrigon
Justice Court warrant for
Failure to Pay Fine/Theft of
Service. She was cited and
released to appear.
S ep t. 26: MCSO,
B oardm an Police Dept,
received a report from a caller
at the Boardman Shell station
of a $ 10 drive-off. An officer
was unable to locate the
vehicle.
-MCSO received a
report from a caller in Heppner
that someone was messing
with his stuff. A deputy was
unable to locate anyone.

juvenile for Driving while
License Suspended Violation
and No Insurance.

Dept, received a request for
assistance from a Greyhound
bus driver at the Boardman
eastbound rest area for three
passengers who were being
unruly and setting off fireworks
in the parking lot.

Hermiston who owns property
near I-84/H ighw ay 730
junction; he found a half-dozen
m arijuana plants on his
property.

report from the Umatilla Police
D ept, that Shawn Leroy
Creek, 29, was arrested on an
Irrigon Justice Court warrant
for Failure to Appear/Dri ving
while License Suspended. He
was cited and released due to
overcrowding.

request for a deputy contact
from a caller in Heppner
regarding a pending citation
against a subject.
-MCSO received a
report from a caller in Irrigon
that both of his vehicles at his
residence had been broken
into.
-MCSO received a
report from a caller in Irrigon
of a theft of a 4-wheeler.

Swope, 22, was lodged on a

Probation Violation.

request for a deputy contact
from a caller in Heppner
regarding barking dogs. The
caller thought she knew who
the owner was.

report that a male subject with
severe bleeding due to a
machine accident in Irrigon
was transported to Good
Shepherd Medical Center in
Hermiston.

request for a deputy contact
from a caller in Irrigon.

request for an ambulance in
Irrigon for a 78-year-old male
subject having difficulty
breathing. The patient was

from a caller at El Sol that a
juvenile had been detained for
shoplifting.

of an abandoned vehicle in
Irrigon.

from a caller in Heppner that
a 14-year-old male had been
hit on the head during the
Heppner football game. The
patient was transported to
Pioneer Memorial Hospital in
Heppner.

report from Ada County in
Idaho that Victor Carroll
Evangelista, 41, was arrested
on a Circuit Court warrant for
Unauthorized Use of a Motor
Vehicle and Unauthorized
Entry of a Motor Vehicle. He
was already lodged at the Ada
County Jail in Boise, Idaho.

Creek Road out of Heppner.
A deputy was unable to locate
anyone.

Police Dept, received a report
from a caller in Boardman that
an 87-year-old male had
fallen. No transport was
made.

report from a caller on 1-84
that a vehicle was blocking
traffic and not letting people
pass in the fast lane on 1-84
eastbound.

report that Adelfo Sanchez-
Ley va, 36, was cited for No
Operator’s License and No
Insurance. The vehicle was
impounded.

from a caller in Boardman that
a female subject would not
return the children.

Violation of the Basic Rule, 45
mph in a 25 mph zone, and

License.

from a caller in Boardman of
a suspicious vehicle parked
near her residence.

Sept. 27: Boardman
Police Dept, officers arrested
Adrian Perez Gonzalez, 23,
for DUII (BAC .15) and cit­
ed for No Operator’s License
and No Insurance. The vehi­
cle was impounded.

Police Dept, received a report
from a caller in Boardman of
a possible MIP party in the
area and several subjects were
on his property.
-MCSO received a
report from a caller that he hit
a deer on Highway 207 south
of the North Lexington Eleva­
tor. It was a non-injury, non-
blocking accident. The caller
would have the vehicle towed

from a caller at Dodge City Inn
in Boardman that an unwant­
ed subject was at the bar.
-MSCO received a
report from a caller that his
vehicle is disabled on Highway
730 near 1-84.

Dept, received a transferred
911 call from the Hermiston
Police Dept. A caller in Irrigon
reported seeing smoke in the
back bedroom of her resi­
dence. It was determined to
be an electrical short.

Basic Rule, 32 mph in a 20
mph zone. School Zone.

request for an ambulance for
a 16-year-old female soccer
player with a dislocated knee.
The patient was transported to

ter in Hermiston.

that the neighbor’s dogs keep
barking.

veniles had set the trees on fire
near the Learning Center in
Irrigon.

from a caller in Boardman that
an unwanted male subject was
on her porch and he wasn’t
supposed to be there. The
male juvenile was cited for No
Operator’s License and Driv­
ing Uninsured. The vehicle was
impounded.

report of a one-car non-injury

Substance, Less that One Oz.
Marijuana; and another sub­
ject was cited for Driving while
License Suspended and Driv­
ing Uninsured. The vehicle was
impounded.
-MCSO received a
report of loud music from a
caller in Boardman. A deputy
was unable to locate the source
of the music.
Sept. 28: MCSO re­
ceived a report from a caller
in Irrigon of a loud party at the
Green Acres RV Park.
-MCSO received a
hang-up 911 call from a
payphone at the Sentry Mar­
ket in Irrigon. It was deter­
mined all was okay.
-MCSO, Boardman
Police Dept, received a report
of an audible alarm at the
Good Shepherd Lutheran
Church in Boardman. The
building was secure, all was
okay.
-MCSO received a
report from a caller in Irrigon
that a dog is chasing him and
some kids in the neighbor­
hood.
-MCSO received a
report from a caller in Irrigon
of loud music coming from the
trailer across the street.

Police Dept, received a report
from a caller in Boardman that
someone stole their trailer
plates.
-MCSO received a
report of smoke coming from
the Willow Creek bridge area
in Heppner. It was determined
to be a controlled bum.

Boardman that two small stray
dogs jumped into a custom­
e r’s vehicle. The dogs were
taken back to their owner.

request fcr deputy assistance
for an out-of-control juvenile.

ler, 48, for No Operator’s Li­
cense and No Insurance.
-MCSO received a
report from a caller in Heppner
that he was in a fender-bender
non-injury accident with an­
other subject. Information was
exchanged.

Police Dept, received a report
of a minor motor vehicle acci­
dent at the 1-84 eastbound off­
ramp. It was a non-injury, non-
blocking accident.

report from a caller of a pro­
pane leak in her motor home
at the Driftwood RV park.
-MCSO received a
report from UCSO that a sub­
ject was arrested on an Irrigon
Justice Court warrant for Fail­
ure to Pay Fine/MIP.
-MCSO received a
request for assistance from a
caller in lone to do a welfare
check on her aunt. The caller
couldn’ t get a hold of her and
was concerned for her welfare.
An Attempt to Locate was
sent out.
-MCSO received a

Boardman that she found a
German Shepherd. The dog
was transported to its owners.

a child caller in Irrigon who
reported a domestic dispute
between his parents in Irrigon.
The parties separated.

report from a caller in Irrigon
that a Hereford cow was in the
watermelon patch on Colum­
bia in Irrigon.
-MCSO received a
report of a possible DUII
south of Heppner. It was not
a DUII.
-MCSO received a
report of trespassers at a lo­
cation along Highway 207.
The report was unfounded.

ambulance received a report
of a one-vehicle motor vehi­
cle accident on Highway 74.
No transport was made.
-MCSO, Irrigon am­
bulance received a request for
an ambulance for an 82-year-
old subject who fell. The pa­
tient was transported to Good
Shepherd Medical Center in
Hermiston.
-MCSO received a
report from a caller in Heppner
of noises coming from an
apartment; the caller’s neigh­
bor was supposed to be gone
and no vehicle was there. It
was determined all was okay;
the resident of the apartment
was home.

ambulance received a request
for an ambulance for an 83-
year-old female who was
unresponsive but breathing

High School in Boardman.

trapper that he would be doing

in case any calls came in
reporting shots fired in the
area.

report from a caller in Irrigon
that a steer was out on the
roadway at the east of the
Irrigon Mobile Court. Contact
was made with the possible
owner and they were en route.

report from Columbia Middle
School in Irrigon that someone
had spray-painted graffiti on
the back of the school building.

out in the middle of the road
and she can’t get her car past.

children in the area as the
driver is usually drinking.

report that a vehicle was

a patient came in with a dog
bite that had occurred the
previous week.

that a dog bit her son and she
wants to file a report.

now will not give it back.

Oct. 13: MCSO re­
ceived a report from a caller
at Action Tow in Boardman
that their office was broken
into.
-MCSO received a
report from a caller outside
Heppner that his neighbor saw
a trespasser on the caller’s
property earlier in the morn­
ing. The caller was unable to
locate any trespassers.
-MCSO deputy ar­
rested Tonya L. Chandler, 37,
on a Morrow County Circuit
Court warrant for Failure to
Appear/Manufacture/Delivery
of a Controlled Substance II,
Possession of a Controlled
Substance II, Unauthorized
Use of a Motor Vehicle; and
possible local charges as she
may have also been involved
in an earlier incident.

of several juveniles in the

Mayra P. Ruelas, 27, on a Cir­
cuit Court warrant for Crimi­
nal Mistreatment. Per the DA’s
office, Ruelas was cited and
released to appear.

report from a caller in Heppner
that he lost his right side cur­
tain off his golf cart on High­
way 207 between Echo and
Heppner.

report from Heppner Fire
Dept, of a mock fire and drill
they were going to hold at the
St. Patrick’s Senior Center in
Heppner; they were going to
do a full evacuation.
-MCSO received a
report from a caller in Heppner
that a female subject came
over and accused her son of
stealing.
-MCSO deputy cited
a male subject for Careless
Driving.
-MCSO, ODOT re­
ceived a report that the lights
are out in the passenger car
area of the Boardman west­
bound rest area. ODOT ad­
vised it was an on-going prob­
lem and the electric company
would be out to fix it again.

mph zone.

and No Insurance. The vehi­
cle was impounded.
Oct. 14: Boardman
Police Dept, officers cited
Puresa Guerrero Alvarez, 43,
for Failure to Register Vehicle.
-MCSO received a
request for a deputy contact
from a caller in Irrigon regard­
ing her infant daughter who
was taken by a male subject
after an argument the previous
day. The subject had permis­
sion to take the infant but the
caller hadn’t seen them since
they left and was concerned.
An Attempt to Locate for a
welfare check was sent out.

received a request for an am­
bulance from a caller in Lex­
ington for a 61 -year-old male
subject having trouble breath­
ing and had a history of medi­
cal problems.
