Miller. Lee M eCarl, father o f
two o f the scouts, knew Miller
was having trouble navigating
the steps in and out o f her
h o u se , an d s u g g e ste d the
scouts build the ram p for her.
M iller w as a teacher
in the Heppner schools for 22
years. She has been living
back in H eppner for three
years.

T here will be a potluck at 12
noon. Participants are asked
to bring their favorite dish,
drinks and eating utensils.
After lunch, a playday
will be held, with different age
groups. A fter all participants
have com pleted one run, they
m ay run again. Electric tim er

rail fence, turn left, and at far
end o f the pasture.
