Sheriff's Report The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) reports handling the following business: -M C SO receiv ed a report from a caller in Irrigon that several dogs were chasing and harassing her neighbor’s horses. -M C SO , B oardm an Police Dept, received a report from a caller in Boardman that a named male subject took their child. It was a possible restraining order violation. -M C SO receiv ed a report from Douglas County Sheriff’s Office that Robert Lauritsen, 31, was arrested on an Irrigon Justice Court warrant for Failure to Appear/Driving while License Suspended. He was cited and released. -MCSO, Oregon State Police received a report o f a pickup on H ighw ay 730 westbound driving erratically. D ec. 5: B oardm an Police Dept, officer cited Oscar Cota, 22, for Driving Uninsured and D riving while License Suspended-Misdemeanor. The vehicle was towed. -M C SO receiv ed a request for a records check on several subjects from the Linn County Sheriff’s Office. -Boardman Police Dept, officer cited Antonio Efrain Gomez-Montes, 18, for Driving w hile L icense S uspended Violation and Driving Uninsured -M C SO receiv ed a hang-up 911 call from a residence in Lexington. It was determined all was okay; it was kids on the phone. -MCSO deputy cited Monte Charles Emmons, 44, for Violation o f the Basic Rule, 71 mph in a 55 mph zone. -MCSO, Irrigoq f ir e Dept, received a repqpt fforp a c a lle r in Irrigon th at his neighbor’s garbage can was on fire and had had a m inor explosion. The caller called back and said the fire was out. -M C SO receiv ed a report from Pendleton Police Dept, that Leigh A. Sanders, 44, was arrested on a Heppner Justice Court warrant for Failure to Pay Fine/Driving while License Suspended. -Boardman Police Dept, officer arrested Marie Kegler, 47, on an Irrigon Justice Court warrant for Failure to Pay Fine/ Storage of Garbage. -MCSO deputy cited Craig Robert Benjamin, 55, for Improper Display. -M C SO deputy reported a cow on the road in Irrigon. The owners arrived to move the cow. -MCSO, Heppner Fire Dept, received a report from a caller that he was involved in a tw o-vehicle m otor vehicle accident at the golf course in Heppner. It was a non-injury accident but one vehicle was blocking traffic. -M C SO deputy reported of Theft II at Huwe’s Washboard. -M C SO , U m atilla Police Dept, received a report of a possible DUU on Highway 730 eastbound. Oregon State Police arrested the subject in Umatilla County. -Boardman Police Dept, o ffice r rep o rted a vehicle blocking a road in Boardman and requested that it be towed. Dec. 6: Boardman Po lice Dept, officer cited Raymond N. McKim, 20 for Unreason able Sound Amplification. -MCSO received a re port from MCGG in lone o f a theft of anhydrous ammonia last night; the suspects left some ma terials at the scene. The shelter could not handle that many animals at once and a phone number for the near est shelter was needed. The caller was also concerned about how many animals he was bringing, didn’t know if he had more and that they looked neglected.
