child. It was a possible restrain­

Justice Court warrant for Failure
toAppear/Driv ing while License
Suspended. He w as cited and
released.

bound driving erratically.

termined all was okay; it was kids
on the phone.

Violation o f the Basie Rule, 71
mph in a 55 mph zone.

Dept, received a report from a
caller in Irrigon that his neigh­
b o r's garbage can was on fire
and had had a m inor explosion.
The caller called back and said
the fire was out.

port from Pendleton Police Dept,
that Leigh A. Sanders, 44, was
arrested on a H eppner Justice
Court w arrant for Failure to Pay
Fine Driving while License Sus­
pended.
-Boardman Police Dept,
officer arrested Mark Kegler, 47,
on an Irrigon Justice Court war­
rant for Failure to Pay Fine/Stor-
ageofC iarbage.

Improper Display.

ed a cow on the road in Irrigon.
The owners arrived to m ove the
cow.

Dept, received a report from a
caller that he was involved in a
two-vehicle m otor vehicle acci­
d e n t at th e g o l f c o u rs e in
Heppner. It was a non-injury ac-
c id e n t but one v e h ic le w as
blocking traffic.

board.

lice Dept, received a report o f a
possible DUII on Highway 730
eastbound. Oregon State Police
arrested the subject in Um atilla
County.
-Boardman Police Dept,
officer reported a vehicle block­
ing a road in Boardm an and re­
quested that it be tow ed.

regarding her sick granddaugh­

a report o f animal abuse.

port from a caller in Irrigon o f
finding an open door and indica­
tions o f forced entry at a house
for sale in lone.
-M C SO received a 911
call from a 5-year-old juvenile in
Irrigon w ho reported that his fa­
ther was punching his mother. It
was determined all was okay; the
juvenile was practicing calling
911.
-M C SO received a re­
quest for contact regarding a cit­
izen’s review' committee meeting.

Police received a report from a
caller on 1-84 eastbound o f a
semi truck cutting in and out o f
traffic.
-M C SO received a re­
port from a caller at K egler's
Sentry Market in Boardman that
a light pole had been struck by a
v ehicle. The vehicle then left the
scene. The vehicle was missing a
hubcap and had grill and head­
light damage. An Attempt to Lo­
cate w as sent out.

ceived a report from a caller in
Irrigon ofloud music coming from
his neighbor’s residence.
-M C SO received a re­
port from a caller that her hus­
band was bitten by the neighbor’s
dog. There was no injury.
-M C SO received a re­
port from a caller that he had had
a m otor vehicle accident on
Baseline and Jordan G rade. It
was a non-injury, non-blocking
accident.

for an officer contact regarding a
possible child neglect complaint.

quest for a records check on a
m ale subject from the U.S. Army
Recruiter in The Dalles.

port that a vehicle was repos­
s e s s e d fro m a lo c a tio n in
Heppner.
-M C SO received a re­
port o f a found cell phone.

cited M. Ofelia Zavalza Flores,
29, for A ttractive Nuisance and
Scattering o f Rubbish.
-M C SO deputy gave a
courtesy ride to a female subject
to the Irrigon 76 station.

ceived a report o f a deer hit on
Highway 74 near Pettyjohn’s in
H eppner. T he deer w as d is ­
patched.
-M C SO deputy report­
ed suspicious activity at a resi­
dence in Irrigon. The residence
was thought not to be occupied.
It was determ ined the residence
was occupied.
-M C SO received a re­
port from a caller that he gave a
ride to a teenage fem ale w ho
appeared to be high on drugs.

at the station had ruined the call­
e r ’s tire while trying to fix it.

on 1-84 westbound.

Bret D. Benzley, 41, for Exceed­
ing the M axim um Speed Limit,
72 mph in a 55 mph zone.

D ep t, th a t T h o m a s C h a rle s
W addell, 4 5 , w as arrested on an
Irrigon Justice Court warrant for Fail­
ure to Appear/D riving while Li­
cense S uspended, and had a
Umatilla County hold placed on
him . He w as lo d g e d at the
Umatilla County Jail.

port from a caller that a dog bit
her and then defecated in her
yard.
-M C SO received a re­
quest for a deputy contact from
a caller in Irrigon regarding a ve­
hicle window that had been bro­
ken.

Efrain Franco, Jr., 18, for No
O p erato r’s License, N o Insur­
ance, and Failure to Obey Traf­
fic Control Device. The vehicle
w as impounded.

port o f a repossessed vehicle.

lice Dept, that Rick Lee Avery,
35, w as arrested on a M orrow
County Circuit Court w arrant for
Failure to A ppear/A ttem pted
Burglary II, Criminal Mischief II.
He was lodged at the U m atilla
County Jail.

port from a caller in Heppner that
she left her d riv e r’s license at
home. A deputy contact was re­
quested.
-M C SO received a re­
quest for inform ation on noise
o rd in a n c e s from a c a lle r in
Heppner. She advised the mill
was "blow ing o ff steam ’’ and
making a lot o f noise.
-M C SO received a re­
port o f a large branch on 1-84
eastbound at the Port o f M or­
row exit. The hazard was re­
moved.
