at
To one and all... stroll
along H eppner’s city sidewalks,
which will be dressed in holiday
styles and on every street com er
y o u 'll see people, sipping free
cocoa and hot apple cider. You’ll
s m ile w ith g le e at S a n ta ’s
. M erchant’s door prizes. Your
children shall sm ile with glee,
since Santa will be in his sleigh
n e x t to H e p p n e r ’s G ia n t
C hristm as Tree. Even the little
children rem em bered to bring
ornam ents from hom e, ju st to
hang on that old tree. Then o f
course, the picture with Santa in
his sleigh will make their whole
day. W hen the ticking clock
s trik e s 4 :3 0 p .m ., d o n ’t be
am azed when not even a mouse
will stir, for one and all will stop
and stare: Look for the Giant
Christm as Tree, next to S anta’s
sleigh, but you will not need to
look very far. Since, it will light
up the whole city w ith thousands
o f w ondrous lights and all will
cheer!
But wait, somebody must
have made the Grinch real mad,
because he just pulled the Giant
C hristm as Tree Light plug! Oh
my, out w ent the lights. Yup!
every single, little light on that
Giant Christmas Tree. That mean
ole’ Grinch, he just stole our glee
and cheer, now that is ju st not
fair! But, wait. Yes, 1 think 1 can
see a teeny little light coming from
th e w e st. Is it a s ta r? Is it
Rudolph, well o f course not, since
the light w ould be red from his
fam ous nose... Can you hear
what I hear? It’s faint, but 1 think
I can hear music coming from that
light. Oh my, silly me, it’s 6 p.m.
and tim e for the “Light Parade"
and one and all start to cheer!
