Stacie and Payton Miller _________________ 8-28-lc I want to thank all my family and friends for making my big 80th birthday such a special day. Thanks so much. Betty Pettyjohn 8-28-Ip The organizers of the Paul McElligott Co-Ed Softball Tour nament would like to thank all the people involved with the tourna ment for making this benefit such a great success. We would like to thank Den nis Stefani for helping with the bracketing and the organization on how to actually run a tourna ment. He had great advice and we will be sure to have him help us again (hopefully he will be will ing!). We would especially like to thank all of the teams who par ticipated in this event. Without the teams and all the players in volved, we would not have been able to have such a great turnout for the tournament. Another big thank you goes out to our umpires for the games: Tom Gates, Virgil Morgan. Del LaRue and Cayben Marshall. Even Bink Ramos and Robin LaRue got involved umpiring a game. All the umpires were great and came through thé tournament without too many verbal wounds. The tournament would not have been possible without these people donating their time. A gigantic thank you goes out to all the wonderful people who donated money to the benefit. Your contributions were well above and beyond what we had expected. The community that we live in is excellent. The contribu tions the benefit received just proves that Morrow County is a great place to live. LynnDee Ramos, Melissa LaRue, and Shilo Svetich ___________________ 8-28- lc Thank you again to all the par ents and other volunteers who helped with running the 4-H Snack Shack! As always, we had great help! We had a great moum- ing/moming shift. Doug was our breakfast manager, w hich I hear put some in mourning! We had a new day manager (Kim Armato) as well as our three returning ones (Glaya Baker, Nisha McNamee and Shelly Key), and. as always, they did a great job organizing and running the Snack Shack. If you see any of the people men tioned, please help us in thank ing them! Thanks for another great year. Jan Coe and Pam Piper P.S. Just kidding. Doug! (Please let Jan know too how much she is appreciated! Jan had to do a lot of pre-cleaning, set ting up and stocking supplies w ith little-to-no help before Fair.
