Technician. Salary: $9.42/hr.
The position involves light office
duties, typing, filing, answering
phones and operation of office
equipment including computer
operation. Assist with Farm Pro­
gram operations in the office. All
candidates must be U.S. citizens,
high school graduates or equiva­
lent, and be at least 18 years of
age. This is a temporary ftril-time
non-federal appointment not to
exceed 120 days. Hired will be
eligible for annual (vacation) and
sick leave.

The Morrow County Sheriff’s
Office (MCSO) reports handling
the following business:
June 12: MCSO received a
report from Heppner of a dog
barking constantly in the area.
-MCSO received a call from
Boardman reporting that someone
was breaking into the caller’s
vehicle. Michael Anthony
Mulliken, 18, was arrested for
unlawful entry into a motor
vehicle, criminal mischief I and
criminal mischief III.
-MCSO deputy arrested Adam
Wayne Oren, 21, for pointing a
firearm at another, unlawful use
of a firearm, reckless
endangerment, and menacing.
-MCSO received a call from
Heppner that the local dog was
barking again.
-MCSO deputy arrested Kevin
Haskel Bond, 19, for failure to
appear/criminal mischief II. He
was taken directly in front of
Judge Gray, arraigned and
remained in custody. He was then
transported to Umatilla County
Jail.
-MCSO received report of an
attempted vandalism of a mailbox
in lone.
-MCSO deputy cited Cory James
Koertje, 19, for failure to register
a vehicle and defective equipment.
-MCSO received report of a male
and female in a verbal argument
at Columbia Yiew apartments in
Boardman.
-MCSO received a call from a
man who said his wife was in an
argument with a male at the
Irrigon Marina.
-MCSO received a report of
stolen items from an Irrigon
resident.
-MCSO received a report of two
juveniles smoking in Irrigon.
-MCSO received a report of a
vehicle on the side of the road
near Boardman that is smoking
from underneath the back end of
the vehicle.
June 13: MCSO received a call
from Irrigon that someone had
slashed the caller's tires at her
sister’s house.
-MCSO deputy cited Joseph Paul
McElligott, 49, for violating the
basic rule, 71/55.
-MCSO deputy cited J. Ismael
Mendoza Moreno, 35, for no
insurance.
-MCSO deputy cited Juan Roldan
Santoyo, 23, for failure to obey a
traffic control device and no
insurance.
-MCSO deputy cited Sherry
Bowers, 45. for violating the basic
rule. 79/55.
-MCSO deputy cited Matthew
Byron Phillips for violating a
restraining order.
-MCSO received a report of a
vehicle traveling at a high rate of
speed and passing in a no passing
zone near the mill in Heppner.

someone possibly driving under
the influence of intoxicants,
speeding through a construction
zone and driving erratically.
