The Morrow County Sheriff's
Office (MCSO) reports handling
the follow ing business:

ceived a request for an ambulance
in Heppner for an 80-year-old
female with injuries. The patient
was transported to Pioneer Me­
morial Hospital in Heppner.

Adrian Martin Harris, 22, for Ex­
ceeding the M aximum Speed
Limit.
-MCSO received a re­
port from a caller in Irrigon of a
horse loose in the vicinity of the
Irrigon Mobile Court.

Paula Ann Moore for Animal
Neglect.
-MCSO received a re­
quest for a deputy contact from a
caller in Irrigon who came home
from work to find his wife had
packed up and left with their four
children. The caller wanted to
know what options he had.

19, for Violation o f the Basic
Rule, 40 mph in a 25 mph zone.

Works received a request for a
city worker at the Heppner St.
Patrick’s Senior Center to repair
an elevator that wasn’t working.
-MCSO, Boardman Po­
lice Dept., Boardman ambulance
received a report o f a medical
alert alarm at a residence in
Boardman. It was a false alarm.
-MCSO received a re­
quest for a deputy in Irrigon re­
garding a dispute; the line was
dropped.
-MCSO, Boardman Po­
lice Dept, received a report of an
audible alarm at a residence in
Boardman. No one was home; it
was determined all was okay.
-MCSO, Boardman Po­
lice Dept, received two hang-up
911 calls from a payphone in
Boardman. It was determined
that there was a picnic party with
over 200 people and kids were
playing by the phone.
-MCSO received a re­
port from a caller in Irrigon of a
stolen bike found. The caller
wanted the subjects cited. The
caller later called back and said
he changed his mind about the
citation.

Timothy Engebretson, 31, for Vi­
olation of the Basic Rule, 76 mph
in a 55 mph zone.

Police received a report of a pos­
sible DUII on 1-84 westbound.
The vehicle was weaving all over
the road.
-MCSO received a re­
quest for a deputy contact in
Boardman regarding the caller
picking up her daughter.
-MCSO received a re­
port of an intrusion alarm at Finley
Buttes Landfill. Deputies re­
sponded.
-MCSO, Boardman Po­
lice Dept., Irrigon ambulance re­
ceived a report from a caller in
Irrigon that the upstairs neighbor
was choked by her boyfriend.
-MCSO deputy arrested
Juan Manuel Juaregui Perez, 26,
for Assault IV Domestic. He was
lodged at the Umatilla County Jail,
bail $6.000.

lice Dept, officers arrested Cesar
Dario Jara Avila, 28, for DUII
(BAC .21). The vehicle was im­
pounded.

Police received a report of a pos­
sible DU11; the vehicle was all
over the road on 1-84 westbound.

port o f an alarm at a residence in
Irrigon. It was determined all was
okay.

quest for an ambulance from a
caller in Irrigon for an 86-year-
old male who had possibly over­
dosed on medications. The patient
was transported to Good Shepherd
Medical Center in Hermiston.

arrested on a Morrow County
Circuit Court warrant for Parole
Violation/Possession o f a Con­
trolled Substance, Attempt to
Elude and for warrants from oth­
er counties. He was lodged at the
Umatilla County Jail.
-MCSO received a report
from a caller in Irrigon that her
daughter was babysitting at a res­
idence in Irrigon and was receiv­
ing strange phone calls.
-MCSO received a report of
a burglary alarm at a residence in
Boardman. Family members ar­
rived at the location. The back
door was open. Units were called
for a foot pursuit.
-MCSO received a report
from a caller that her stepmother
in Irrigon had taken all the vehi­
cles from her father’s residence
and sold them.
-MCSO received a report of
motorcycles racing around Sum­
mit and Parkside in Boardman.
The caller wanted them to be con­
tacted and told to stop. A deputy
was unable to locate the motor­
cycles.
-MCSO received a report
from the Hermiston Police Dept,
that Twyla Kay Johnson, 38, was
arrested on an Irrigon Justice
Court warrant for Failure to Pay
Fine/Negotiating a Bad Check.
She was lodged at the Umatilla
County Jail.
-MCSO, Boardman Police
Dept, received a report from of­
ficers enroute to a school dance
for an unknown problem. It was
determined a male subject who is
wanted was at the location. The
subject evaded officers and left
the location prior to arrest.

a request from a caller in
Boardman to come to Columbia
View Apts, for an unknown prob­
lem. Trinidad Muniz-Rafael, 29,
was arrested for Assault o f a
Public Safety Officer, Assault IV
Domestic Felony, Domestic Ha­
rassing, Resisting Arrest, Disor­
derly Conduct, Harassment and
Criminal Mischief II. He was also
wanted for an interview regard­
ing a homicide case. He was
lodged at the Umatilla County Jail.
-MCSO received a report
from a caller in Boardman regard­
ing her 17-year-old daughter who
wanted to leave with her boy­
friend. A deputy contact was re­
quested.
-MCSO received a report of
a disabled vehicle on Highway
730.
-MCSO, Oregon State Police
received a report from a caller in
Lexington of a loud party.
April 14: MCSO received a
report from a caller in Irrigon that
his vehicle was missing. The
Hermiston Police Dept, advised
the vehicle had been located in
Umatilla. The caller was contact­
ed and would pick up his vehicle.
-MCSO received a report
from a caller in Boardman that
several men in a pickup were go­
ing through buildings on the Tatone
Ranch. It was determined that the
subjects had the owner’s permis­
sion to be on the property to brand
cattle that day.
-MCSO, Boardman Police
Dept., Boardman ambulance re­
ceived a request for an ambulance
at the EconoLodge in Boardman
for a 17-year-old female with
chest pain, hand numbness and
labored breathing. The juvenile
had fallen a few days earlier and
had a head injury. The patient was
transported to Good Shepherd
Medical Center in Hermiston.

from a caller in Irrigon that his
vehicle was vandalized either last
night or the night before.
-MCSO, Boardman Police
Dept, received a report from a

Boardman of a suspicious vehi­
cle driving through the area. An
officer was unable to locate the
vehicle.

received a report from a caller in
Irrigon that her husband was fish­
ing, drinking alcohol and would be
DUII if he drives.
-MCSO received a request
for a deputy contact regarding
stolen checks.
-MCSO, Oregon State Police
received a report from a caller on
1-84 eastbound o f a female in a
disabled vehicle.
-MCSO received a report
from a caller of a stray black lab
puppy that was hanging around
and growling.
-MCSO, Irrigon ambulance
received a report from a caller in
Irrigon that her three-year-old
brother fell and possibly broke his
leg. The patient was transported
to Good Shepherd Medical Cen­
ter in Hermiston.
-MCSO received a report
from Heppner that a male sub­
je c t has a large am ount o f
wrecked/stored vehicles at his
shop in the residential area, pos­
sibly over code.
-MCSO received a report of
a possible MIP party in Irrigon.
Officers were unable to locate the
party.
-MCSO received a report of
cows out on Highway 207 just out
of Lexington.
-MCSO received a report
from a caller in lone of horses out
on Highway 74 near the Morgan
Depot Station. The owner was
contacted.
April 15: MCSO received a
report of a trailer fire on Taggares
Lane in Boardman. It was deter­
mined to be out of the fire dis­
trict. R.D. Offutt was contacted.
-MCSO received a report that
long distance lines were out.
CenturyTel was notified. All units
were notified. 911 lines were test­
ed. It was advised that most of
Eastern Oregon was down due to
Qwest fiber optic damage. It was
later determined that the line was
cut 3-4 miles outside of Echo and
would be about two hours to re­
pair.
