The Morrow County Sheriff s Office (MCSO) reports handling the following business: -MCSO deputy cited J. Rob erto Mendoza, 25, for Exceeding the Maximum Speed Limit, 98 mph in a 65 mph zone. -MCSO deputy responded to assist with an assault call in Uma tilla. -MCSO deputy cited Melva Spahic, 26, for Exceeding the Maximum Speed Limit, 95 mph in a 65 mph zone. -MCSO deputy cited Krist- offer Ray Neustal, 23, for Viola tion of the Basic Rule, 70 mph in a 55 mph zone. -MCSO deputy cited Nedz- ib Beganovic, 40, for Exceeding the Maximum Speed Limit, 89 mph in a 65 mph zone. -MCSO deputy cited Bren da Kay Worden, 40, for Driving while License Suspended viola tion. -MCSO received a report from Portland Police Dept, that Jimmy Herbert Santos, 37, was arrested on a Irrigon Justice Court warrant for Failure to Ap pear. Sheriff's Report no trooper was seen near the ve hicle. -NJCSO received a report of an audible burglar alarm at the Irrigon City Hall. It was deter mined a cleaning lady set off the alarm. -MCSO deputy was flagged down by a subject in Boardman who reported that a dog hit by a car had bedded down in his yard. -MCSO received a request for officer contact in Boardman regarding a custody issue. -MCSO received a report from Oregon State Police of a vehicle on Highway 730 tailgat ing and passing on the wrong side. A deputy was unable to locate the vehicle. -Oregon State Police re ceived a relayed report from UCSO of two suspicious vehicles on Rhea Road between lone and Arlington. -MCSO received a request for officer contact from a wom an who said her boyfriend’s moth er didn’t give her children back. -MCSO deputy gave a cour tesy ride to a female subject and a child from 1-84 to an address in Boardman. -MCSO deputy cited Ter rance Lee Banta, 53, for Viola tion of the Basic Rule, 73 mph in a 55 mph zone Feb. 25: MCSO, Boardman Police Dept, received a report of a possible intruder on a business property in Irrigon. Officers were unable to locate anyone. -MCSO received a report from a caller in Irrigon that her neighbor’s dog was running loose and attacking her dogs. -MCSO received a call from Potlatch Corp. in Boardman re garding a male subject calling night security, identifying himself as MC dispatch and asking about tree harvesting in an area they are in fact harvesting. There was no report of a call in the log entry or dispatch duty book. A message was left for the caller to contact MCSO if a deputy contact was required. -MCSO received a report of guns stolen from a residence in Irrigon. -MCSO received a request for a follow-up contact regarding an Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and suspect. -MCSO received a request for deputy contact to cite a stu dent at the Irrigon Middle School for vandalism. -MCSO received a report from a caller who had been out of town; when she returned to her home in Irrigon, she found it bur glarized and several items taken. -Boardman Police Dept, of ficer cited Edward M. Stevens, 56, for Violation o f the Basic Rule, 60 mph in a 40 mph zone. -MCSO deputy cited David Joseph Funk, 24, for Driving while License Suspended violation and arrested him on a Morrow Coun ty Circuit Court warrant for Theft II. He was lodged at the Umatilla County Jail with $20,000 bail. -MCSO received a report from Marion County Jail that James Alan Cavan, 21, was ar rested on a Heppner Justice Court warrant for Failure to Pay Fine/ Failure to Appear Driving while License Suspended. He was lodged at the Marion County Jail with $1,500 bail. -MCSO received a request for deputy contact in Boardman regarding a disturbance with a female subject in another apart ment. -MCSO received a report of two calves out near the firing range in Boardman. A deputy couldn’t locate the owners. The calves were back in. -Boardman Police Dept, of ficer arrested Diana Hernandez on an Irrigon Justice Court war rant for Failure to Pay Fine/Crim- inal Trespass II and on local charges for Possession of a Con trolled Substance Sch. II. She was lodged at the Umatilla County Jail with $382 bail. -MCSO received two hang up 911 calls from the Riverfront Lodge in Boardman. The lodge was contacted and the desk clerk confirmed it was a wrong num ber. -MCSO received a report of two black cows out on Wilson Lane.
