Lady Cardinals lose to Bulldogs lone Lady Cardinals traveled to Hermiston on Tuesday, Jan. 8, to spar against the Bulldog Junior Varsity team. Ione put forth a valiant effort but was unable to come out the victor, losing to Hermiston, 30-36. Natalie McEUigott led the Ione women with eight points, five rebounds, seven blocked shots and five steals. Diana McEUigott added seven points, five rebounds, one steal and two assists to her team’s endeavor. Amellia Peck also scored seven points, brought down five re bounds, seized five Bulldog pos sessions and delivered one assist.
