heard about the situation and
relayed the information to a
youth ministry that is visiting
Heppner through the Nazarene
church this week. The visiting
youth ministry, "Chaos", got
right on the job. cleaning up trash
and debris, pruning back bushes
and even helping to dismantle a
makeshift fort that had been
formed, said Chick.
"We're taking this back
for the school kids," said Chick.
"We intend to continue cleaning
up between now and when the
kids start school. We wanted this
to benefit the youth."
Chick said that Jim Roy
did tree trimming and pruning,
Clmt Bellamv helped with clean
up and Dave Green with Heppner
Garbage Disposal Service took
care of unbumable trash. He said
that Columbia Basin Electric has
said that they will help improve
