TEN - Heppner Gazette-Times, Hep; ner, Oregon Wednesday, June 27, 2001 lone releases honor roll Catholic Churches hold vacation school lone Schools have announced the fourth quarter and second semester honor roll for 2000-2001. Following are the students who qualified: Fourth Quarter Honor Roll Sixth grade "A"-Miranda Hunt, 4., Stephanie Holland; "B"-Amber Patton, Kayla LaRue. St. Patrick's and St. William's vacation school attendees, teachers and assistants. St. Patrick's Parish and St. William's Parish held vacation school on June 18-22. Themes for each day dealt with the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, the Holy Eucharist and prayer. Classes were concluded each day with Holy Mass. Sixty children were in attendance. There were treats, games and dramas each day. On the final day awards were presented. The classes were conducted by St. Clare Vandecouvenng and Sr. Agnes Marie Vandecouvenng. Adult helpers included Faith Healy, Mary Ann Elguezabal, Anna McElligott, Mary West, Gayle Arbogast, Janet Holland, Ann Murray, Dora Collins, Kim Armato and Kathy Cutsforth-Fullmer. There were also many junior helpers: Natalie McElligott, Robert McElligott. Brendan McElligott, Megan McCabe, Laurie Murray. WOU's graduating class included students from 33 Oregon counties, 13 other U.S. states and nine foreign nations, and of the 956 candidates for degrees, 130 graduated with honors. The average age of this year’s WOU graduates was 27; the oldest was 60 years old and the youngest was 20 .
