FOUR - Heppner Gazette-Times, Heppner, Oregon Wednesday, June 20, 2001 Sheriff's Report The Morrow County Sheriff s Office (MCSO) reports handling the following business: -MCSO received a report from a caller in Boardman who said his apartment had been broken into and money and possibly other items taken. -MCSO received a report that someone stole a motor out of a boat in Imgon. -MCSO, Heppner Police Dept, received a report that a U-Haul truck and van-type trailer that was supposed to be returned to Hermiston from Heppner had not been returned. -MCSO received a report from Oregon State Police o f a verbal altercation between two people and to watch for any more calls on them. -MCSO received a report of eight cows out on Highway 74. The owners were contacted. -MCSO received a report of bicycles in a ditch. One bicycle was recovered. -Clatsop County Sheriffs office reported Michael SeanTipton, 40, was arrested on an Imgon Justice Court warrant for Theft II and local charges. He was lodged at the Clatsop County Jail. -MCSO, Boardman Police Dept, received a report o f a juvenile wearing dark clothes and a mask hiding and chasing people. -MCSO received a report of a civil matter. The caller requested deputy contact regarding obtaining a cnb from the grandparents of the party it was given to. -MCSO received a report of a suspicious vehicle at the Imgon park. April 14: MCSO deputies arrested Ricky Lee Pennock, 30, of Imgon on a Stalking Order Violation and on a Reckless Driving charge. He was lodged at the Umatilla County Jail. They also arrested Toni Mane Pennock, 24, of Irrigon for Hindering Prosecution. -MCSO received report of loud music coming from the fair grounds. Dispatch contacted fair a board member and they advised they would take care qf the problem. -MCSO received report that the U-haul in a previous report had been returned. -MCSO received request for deputy contact regarding a subject making contact with the caller. The subject has a release agreement that advises no contact. -MCSO received request for deputy contact regarding a trace. -BPD, Army Depot, MCSO received report that the caller's sister had seen a large yellow/green cloud over the army depot. All was okay at the Depot. The caller recontacted and advised the smoke was coming from Coyote Spnngs and there was sulfur in the bum. The caller took pictures and said she would turn them into the Department of Environmental Quality. -MCSO received report that the caller and her landlord were having a feud over rental and move-out procedures. The caller requested deputy contact. -BPD, MCSO received request for officer contact. The caller was having a problem with unruly visitors to the trailer park. -MCSO received request for deputy contact for dogs that chased his horse into a fence. The caller knew who owned the animals and checked for any injury to the horse. -BPD received report that a subject in a dark colored car that she believes was intoxicated threatened her when she asked him to move. The subject is not a resident and is no longer on the property. -MCSO received report that a missing juvenile was located. The subject was transported to his sister's residence and she was advised to call if there were any problems. -Umatilla Police Dept, arrested Javier Campos-Dorado, 34, on a Imgon Justice Court warrant for Failure to Perform Duties of a Driver. He was lodged at Umatilla County Jail with $6,000 bail. April 15: MCSO received report of a subject who threw a small dog from a brown older model diesel pickup. The subject was on 1-84 westbound and has a leg injury. -MCSO received an open 911 call with breathing on the line. On call back MCSO received a female who was able to understand that there was no emergency and said the baby had made contact. Officers and deputies confirmed there was no emergency. -MCSO received report that a subject had a wooden box filled with drugs (pot) stored in the bottom of the closet at a Lexington residence. The caller’s seven-year- old daughter was with the subject and he is concerned for her welfare. -MCSO, Boardman Fire Department, Boardman Ambulance received report of a three-vehicle motor vehicle accident at the comer of Tower Road and Kunze in Boardman. There were unknown injuries and it is blocking. -MCSO received report of a suspicious male subject that had broken down outside of the caller's residence in a blue Ford pickup with the hood up. The subject came to the door and was rude when she would not let him come in to use the phone. -MCSO arrested Elifonso Delà Torreaguilar, 24, on an Imgon Justice Court warrant for DUII. The subject was lodged at Umatilla County Jail with $6,000 bail. -MCSO received report a subject had entered the pump area of the fueling station at Brown's 76 Auto in Imgon and passed out at the wheel. The subject then entered the C-store and attempted to purchase beer. -MCSO recieved report of the theft of two mountain bikes in Irrigon. -MCSO received request for assistance? gçt % palm's vehicle unstuck at Blake Ranch. The caller j. advised that he had vyalkpd down to a résidence and his wife was still up with the minivan. The wife, however had gotten the vehicle unstuck and was looking for her husband. -BPD arrested Jody Lynn Lemon, 22, on restricted Hermiston municipal warrant for DUII. The subject was lodged at Umatilla County Jail with $10,000 bail. April 16: MCSO, BPD received report that the caller heard someone trying to break into a trailer outside her residence. -BPD received report o f an audible alarm. The alarm company spoke with an employee at the bank and everything was ok. -MCSO received request from a female subject that a male be contacted and advised that he had to give back her belongings. There was a no-contact order between them. -MCSO received report of wood taken from a subject's cabin in the mountains. -MCSO received request for contact regarding a car that was on fire. -MCSO received request for contact regarding a bad check case with a subject. -MCSO received request for contact regarding someone being on the caller's property while she was gone. -BPD received request for information on a vehicle theft, checks and wife from three days ago. It had already been reported. -Boardman Ambulance, BPD received request for ambulance for a 67-year-old female breathing/ unresponsive diabetic. One subject was transported to Good Shepherd Medical Center. -Boardman Ambulance, BPD received request for ambualnce for a five-year-old female experiencing an epileptic sezure. One subject was transported to Good Shepherd Medical Center. -BPD received report that the caller saw high school students tearing up a yard. -BPD received report of an audible burglary alarm at Boardman Auto. It was a false alarm. * -BPD, Boardman Ambulance, OSP received report of two 14- year- old females fighting. Officer requested ambulance response to check female with eye injury. At her request there was no transport. -Im gon City, OSP received request that the day shift advise the City of Irrigon to check a residence as it has dirty water coming from the residence and being emptied on the lawn. -BPD, MCSO received report that the gate was open at the pump house sub-station in Boardman. Door was found open and building check was all ok. There was no one around. A pril 17: MCSO received report that there were missing items off the caller's Jeep. -MCSO received report that the caller had spotted a vehicle that she thinks has been stolen out of Umatilla . -MCSO received request for deputy response for there is a parent at Columbia Middle School in Imgon that is very disgruntled because of an earlier citation issued to her son. -MCSO received report that the caller had made an effort to obtain her belongings through a third party, but the subject is not being cooperative. She said he would be charged with theft if he doesn't see that she gets her belongings. -MCSO received request for assistance for an elderly couple with a flat tire. -MCSO received report that the caller had passed by three to four juveniles and it appeared as though they were going to fight. -MCSO received report that the caller was unable to get her keys out of her vehicle. Apparently they were stuck in the ignition and would not turn. -MCSO received report that the caller had received forged checks from her bank and would like them to be picked up. -MCSO received report of kids playing on the caller's property. The caller advised this was an ongoing problem. -MCSO received request for deputy response to cite a student at Columbia Middle School for assault. -OSP received report o f a border collie running around Boardman on 1-84 eastbound with a broken leash and acting like it is lost. -OSP received report of a truck all over the road on 1-84 eastbound. -BPD received request for assistance. The caller reported that he did not have enough gas to get back to Wyoming. -MCSO received report that the caller's children have been taken by her husband. They are seperated now but she had dropped the restraining order against him. April 18: BPD received report that the headlights o f the caller's vehicle were turned on by unknown subjects. -MCSO received report that deputy was out with a small unattended fire. Fire was put out by deputy. -HPD received an incomplete 911 call. The building was secure no emergency. -MCSO received report that the alarm to the back doors o f the Imgon 76 Station was going off. The caller requested a deputy to check the area. -MCSO received an incomplete 911 call. April 22: MCSO, Heppner Police Dept, received a report of a horse running up and down streets in Heppner. The horse ended up in the Les Schwab parking lot. The owner was contacted and the horse recovered. MCSO, Heppner Police Dept., Heppner ambulance received a request for an ambulance from Pioneer Memorial Hospital to pick up a patient.
