Morrow County is looking for
a group or organization to plan, build
and organize a Morrow County fair
booth for the Oregon State Fair in
Salem. Aug. 23-Sept. 3. This year's
theme is "Ain't No Place I'd Rather
B e.”
Many supplies from prior years'
booths are available
Former entries have showcased
the county's agricultural products
A regular board meeting o f the
Morrow SW CD/W eed Advisory
Board will be held Monday, June
11, at 9 a m. at the Port o f Morrow
in Boardman.
Agenda items include: Port o f
Morrow report, manager report,
weed report, agency reports and
other business.
The meeting is open to the public.

Heppner Elementary
School first grade students took a
tour o f the Heppner Gazette-
Times on Tuesday, June 5.
Students in teachers
Cherry Webber and Sherry
Matteson's classes learned about
the newspaper and had a digital
photograph o f them selves taken
for the newspaper. That day the
students also visited the Morrow
County M useum, the Heppner
City Park and the Heppner
Cemetery.
Besides their teachers
they were accom panied by
several chaperons.
