The Heppner Mustangs came
within one win of accomplishing
their goal o f taking home a trophy
at the OSAA Class 2A Basketball
Tournament at Pendleton, but had
an otherwise very successtul season,
compiling a 20 and 7 overall record.

tournament with a 60-52 loss to the
eventual state champions, Dayton
Pirates, beat the McKenzie Eagles.
