Heppner Oregon Wednesday, June 28, Sheriff's Report The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) reports handling the following business: MCSO received a request for a deputy from Columbia Middle School for a fight that occurred on school property between two high school students seen leaving the scene. Portland Police Dept, arrested Duane Roy Magee, 29, on a Mor row County Justice Court warrant for DUII. He was lodged at the Multnomah County Jail with 56,000 bail. MCSO received a report from the Census Bureau that a census employee was refused access to property that lead to other homes. MCSO deputy arrested Amy Huffman. 27, on a Baker County warrant for Contempt of Court/ Negotiating a Bad Check. She was lodged at the Um atilla County Jail with 55,000 bail. MCSO deputy arrested Kenny Sean Walters, 29, on a Hermiston Police Dept, warrant for Failure to Pay Fine/DUIl. He was lodged at the UC Jail with $5,000 bail. MCSO received a report of an intrusion alarm at the Port of Mor row main office. It was a false alarm. MCSO received a request for a deputy concerning loud music. MCSO, Boardm an Police Dept, received a report of an au dible burglar alarm in Boardman. Oregon State Police received a report of a male and female loi tering at Linda’s Restaurant in Biggs. The caller believed the male was trying to pimp the fe male to truckers. Heppner Police and Fire depts., Heppner EMTs. Heppner ambu lance received a report of a two- vehicle accident with unknown injuries at the Red Apple parking lot in Heppner. One patient was transported to Pioneer Memorial Hospital in Heppner. MCSO, Oregon State Police received a report o f a subject overdue from Lexington to Fos sil. The subject left work between 4-5 p.m. and returned home at 1 7 46 a m ___________ a re port of a possible DUII. The per son. heading from Hermiston at a crossroads, had red eyes and the smell of alcohol on their breath . The person was located in Umatilla by the Oregon State Po lice. Oregon State Police received a report from a hitchhiker that a truck driver offered to give him a ride to Portland if he had sexual contact with him first. All Star tourney coming to Heppner The Little League District 5 All Star Tournament will be held in Heppner this year. The tournament will take place Julye 14-16 and 19-23 at the Kilkenny and Shad Hisler Fields. Brackets will be published prior to the event. MCSO received a report of a vehicle hit-and-run in Imgon. Another male subject took the phone and advised that everything w as okay, but the deputy could hear yelling and screaming in the background.
