moval of asbestos from the north
end section of Pioneer Memorial

tion for a remodeling project that
will take place in the near future.

Crisis line
needs volunteers
Domestic Violence Services of
Umatilla and Morrow County has
planned two crisis line volunteer
training sessions.
The first session will be held in
Hermiston April 4, 6, 11 and 13
from 6-9 p.m. The second will be
in Pendleton Apnl 18,20, 25 and
27 from 6-9 p.m.
The crisis line needs volunteers
for the evening and weekend
shifts. Those interested in
training for the crisis line or
anyone wanting to leam more
about domestic violence and
sexual assault may attend the free
training sessions. Volunteers
must be at least 18 years old.

Farms, LLC, in Morrow County.
The facility and land-application
site is located within the Lower
Umatilla Basin Groundwater Man
agement Area, which has been
designated as such by the Depart
ment of Environmental Quality
because groundwater nitrate con
centrations exceed 10 mg/1 in a
widespread area.
