Health District shows financial improvement
The Morrow County Health
District showed major financial
improvement for the month of
February, administrator Victor
Vander Does told the board of
directors at its last meeting Feb
28.
Vander Does said the district's
revenues were up substantially in
February and that by the end of
the year the district should have
a lot of its bills paid up. He said
tax money will be coming into
the district in November, and
that, coupled with the fact the
new doctor will be here by then.

NOTICE OF REQUEST
FOR PROPOSALS
Morrow County Health District
d.b.a. Pioneer Memorial Hospital
Heppner, OR
Morrow County Health Dis­
trict (MCHD) is requesting
proposals, which includes Qualifi­
cations and Invitation To Bid, for
the remodeling/interior alterations
of Pioneer Memorial Hospital.
Sealed proposals from qualified
construction companies will be
received until 3:00PM, April 6,
2000 .
The work includes approxi­
mately 3,600 SF of interior
remodeling consisting of a new
CT Scan, Pharmacy, Emergency
Department and other support
functions. Proposals shall be sent
to Mr. Victor Vander Does,
Administrator, Pioneer Memorial
Hospital, 564 East Pioneer Dr.
Heppner, OR 97836. Proposals
will be distributed to members of
the Health District Board for a
decision at a special Board
meeting.
Proposals not submitted in
accordance with the require­
ments will be rejected. Pioneer
Memorial Hospital and the Mor­
row County Health District Board
reserves the right to waive any
irregularities in the submission of
such proposals. Copies of the
Request for Proposal may be
obtained from Pioneer Memorial
Hospital or by calling Gary Nolan,
Director of Facilities. Pioneer

Morrow County Court concern­
ing the FY 1999-2000 and 2000-
2001 Community Transportation
Grant.

22 at 3:15 p.m. in the conference
room above Coast-to-Coast, the
STF Advisory Committee will
meet to discuss other senior and
disabled transportation issues,
including, but not limited to, budget
preparation for 2000-2001, and
