Gun Club holds shoot

The Morrow County Gun Club
held their weekly shoot on a cold,
foggy Sunday morning, but a hot

Greenup kept everybody warm
for the day.
The 16-yard line winners were
Harvey Childers and Rob Ash-
beck in a tie for first, second went
to Travis Greenup, and third to
Barry Munkers and Mick Sharp.
Rob Ashbeck also took first at
the 20-yard line, followed by
Harv ey Childers with second and
Jeff Cutsforth with third. Bill
Greenup won the Annie Oakley.
The ladies had another good
weekend with Bonnie Grant tak
ing first at the 16-yard line, Sandi
Day was second and Lacey Davis
was third.
The next shoot will be on Sun
day, Feb. 20 at 10 a.m. at the club
house in Lexington.
Food handler's class scheduled
A Food Handler's Class will be
offered by Blue Mountain
Community College and the
State Health Division on
Wednesday, March 15, from
6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Heppner
High School Cafeteria.
A food handler's card is
required by the State of Oregon
for all employees who handle or
prepare food in food service
facilities in Oregon. This
includes dishwashers, waiters,
staff and business persons.
Additionally, the card is also
required now of all day care
workers.
There is no charge for the class
but a $10 licensing fee is payable
to the State Health Department
after successful completion of
the written test.
