EIGHT - Heppner Gazette-Times, Heppner, Oregon Wednesday, December 29, 1999 Sheriff's Report The Morrow County Sheri f f s Office (MCSO) reports handling the following business: Dec. 18: MCSO received a report of a German shorthair dog with a tag found in Heppner Boardman Fire Dept, chief re ceived a report o f a fire alarm at Logan International. It was a false alarm. MCSO received a report of a suspicious male in a green fatigue jacket and dark pants walking away from a vehicle on Fuller Road off Clark’s Canyon out of Lexington. MCSO deputy arrested Daniel Edward Savage, 40, on Morrow County charges for Criminal Tres pass 1 and Theft II. He was lodged at the Umatilla County Jail with a hold for a LaGrande Parole Vio- lation/Felony Possession o f a Weapon. MCSO deputy cited William Jay Devin, 38, on an Heppner Jus tice Court warrant for Criminal Trespass I and Theft II. Heppner Police Dept, cited a 13 year old for Criminal Trespass 1 and Criminal Mischief III, a 12 year old for Criminal Trespass I, and Ross Van Etta. 19, for Crimi nal Mischief III. MCSO received a report of a possible stolen forged check at the Imgon Kegler’s Sentry Market with the subject still in the store. Heppner Police Dept., Hepp ner ambulance received a report of a 29 year old woman who was believed to have had a seizure. The woman, who was conscious, was transported to Pioneer Me morial Hospital in Heppner. Oregon State Police received a report from a woman that a man kicked in her door and threw a pipe at her. The man, who was possi bly intoxicated, left the residence. No one from Morrow County was in position to respond. Heppner Police Dept, received a report o f an unwanted subject at a residence. MCSO received a report o f a strange vehicle in a w om an’s drivew ay in Irrigon. M iguel Rodriguez was arrested for DUII. He blew a .21. He was also cited for Open Container and Driving While License Suspended. MCSO received a report of a burglary that o c cu rred in Boardman. MCSO, Oregon State Police, Boardman Police Dept., Board- man Fire Dept, received a report from a woman that a man at tempted to stab her with a screw driver and said he would kill all of her livestock and blow up her pro pane tank. Jose Najera-Tanguma, 36, was arrested on M CSO charges o f Attempted Assault I, Burglary I, Kidnap, Menacing, Assault IV Domestic Felony and Possession of Less than One Oz. of Marijuana. He was lodged at the Umatilla County Jail with $76,000 bail. The victim was to be contacted if the subject was released. MCSO received a report of cows out on Miller Road. MCSO received a report of a 12 gauge shotgun recovered along the road by Boardman Police Dept. Hermiston Police Dept, ar rested Ronald S. Fields, 24, on an Imgon Justice Court warrant for DUII. He was lodged at Umatilla County Jail with $6,000 bail. MCSO received heavy static 911 calls from Sunflower Flats out o f Heppner with return calls which only nng, were busy or have heavy static. They were advised that the line was being worked on. Lexington EMTs received a report of a male having chest pains at Lexington Baptist Church. Three EMTs were on the scene and the Heppner ambulance was paged. MCSO received a report from Good Shepherd Community Hos pital of a woman with a fractured right cheek bone and severe swelling from an incident on Wednesday night. The woman did not want to file charges. Children were apparently present. Heppner Police Dept, received a report of a dirt bike headed to Heppner from Blake’s Ranch Junction. M CSO, Boardm an Police Dept, received a report from a wom an that her boyfriend wouldn’t let her leave the Sand piper Apts. MCSO received a report of an Irrigon house broken into and trashed. MCSO received a request for a welfare check on an Irrigon woman whose vehicle was found on reservation property wrecked. MCSO received a report from an lone woman that someone had taken the new plugs out of a trac tor and replaced them with old ones and stole some food and dog food. MCSO received a report of a bum that looks too big in Irrigon The fire was checked out and was under control and would be put out soon. Boardman Police Dept, re ceived a report of neighbor’s mu sic too loud. MCSO received a report of a possible drunk driver at the High way 730/Bombing Range Road junction. A deputy was unable to locate anyone. M CSO, Boardm an Police Dept, received a request from Columbia County Sheriff s Office to attempt to locate a man wanted for two counts o f Unauthorized Use o f a M otor Vehicle and Felony Eluding. The subject was reported to be a convict felon who likes weapons and likes to run. They were advised to approach with caution. MCSO received a report from a man that his sister was beaten up by her husband. MCSO deputy arrested Frank David Barraglia. 21. on a warrant for Theft III. The w oman, w ho had four kids in the car, was very scared. He was lodged at Umatilla County Jail with $30,000 bail. MCSO received a report o f a horse out on Eighth and Gravel Pit Road No one was in position to respond. Of ficers were unable to locate the subject. Boardman Police Dept, re ceived a report o f loud music and yelling coming from a Boardman residence at 1:04 a.m. The offic ers were advised that the people were trying to get Santa’s atten tion.
