A third grant will fund an additional project, which has not yet begun. This project, funded through a $99,953 ODOT Small Scale Urban Highway Bicycle and Pedestrian Projects grant will realign the Court Street intersection in front of the courthouse. Campus Life raffle winner announced August 18, 73 boys and girls from all over Umatilla and Morrow counties teed it up for their third annual golf championship held at Echo Hills Golf Course in Echo. Thirty boys and girls ages six to eight, 28 boys and girls ages nine to 12 and 15 teens ages 13 to 15 played nine holes of golf. In the six to eight age group, Brent Driscoll fired a gross 45, and Janessa Lott, a six-year-old girl from Heppner, fired a net 52. Second place went to Matthew Ellis with a 58 gross and Matt McCabe of Heppner with a 59 net. In the nine to 12 age group, Lance Lott from Heppner fired a 47 gross and Shane Dillavou fired a net 44. Second place went to Tyler Boyer of Lexington with a gross 48 and Sam Taylor from Echo with a net 45. All eight of these juniors won new sets of golf clubs. In the 13 and over group, Fletcher Keener fired a gross 51 and Shannon Wetherell from Boardman fired a 46 net. Second place gross went to Brad Bowman from Heppner with a 51 and Jacob Flemmer from Stanfield with a net 51. The girls' division was won by Shannon Wetherell on the gross side, and Janessa Lott on the net side. Second place went to Melissa Prater and Shareana Pittam. Complete results are as follows: six-eight-year-olds, gross-first Brent Driscoll 45, second Matthew Ellis 58, third Sam Grogan 60, fourth Brock Bums 63, fifth Matt Veale 65, sixth John Newman 65, seventh Travis Gabriel 70; net-first Janessa Lott 52, second Matt McCabe 55, third Jack Taylor 57, fourth Chance Day, Heppner, 57, fifth Colter McCallum 58, sixth Joey Bums 63, seventh Robbie Groeschell 63. The History Channel is now on Channel 27 with FOX Sports Northwest to be added as soon as the equipment arrives. The History Channel delves into the past with a full slate of historical documentaries, movies and mini-series, with facts, rare footage and original points of view. A wide range of original and acquired U.S., world, and social history programming is featured to provide viewers with "All of History. All in one Place.” FOX Sports Northwest offers the region's most complete coverage of professional, collegiate and high school sporting events, said a Heppner T V. spokesperson. In addition to FOX Sports Northwest originated programming, the network provides "the most comprehensive sports news coverage in the Northwest". The channel is committed to provide home team coverage of professional and collegiate Day Care requests sports such as baseball, basketball and football, as well as event series, lifestyle programs, Olympic sports, special events and news updates, they said. When launched, FOX Sports NW will be found on Channel 2 "The Heppner T.V. Inc. board of directors hope the added channels will enhance the subscribers' viewing quality.
