Sheriff's Report The Morrow County Sheri fFs Office (MCSO) reports handling the following business during the past weeks: June 22: MCSO received a re port of a man threatening to do damage to a car at Bakes in Irrigon. The man was believed to be intoxicated. MCSO received a report of a girl about 13 sitting on the curb on Kincade St. in Boardman crying. It turned out she was just resting while waiting for a bus. MCSO received a report of noisy Mid-Columbia buses. MCSO received a report of an attempted burglary in Im gon. Someone had tried to pry doors open. MCSO received a report of someone who had gone through the mail at a Boardman residence. MCSO received a report of a found chainsaw at Blake's Ranch. MCSO received a report o f tools and other miscellaneous items missing from Imgon Rural Fire Protection District. MCSO received a report o f a white mini-van almost running another person off the road on I- 84 milepost 136 westbound. MCSO received a report of a dog being attacked by the neighbor’s Rottweiler. June 23: MCSO received a re port of a phone line problem. MCSO dispatched to the Boardman Police Dept, a report of a motion detector alarm at a residence in Boardm an. The house was secure. MCSO dispatched to the Or egon State Police a report o f a speeding semi-truck on 1-84 west bound. MCSO dispatched to the Boardman Police Dept, a report of a pop machine that someone had tried to break into. MCSO received a report of three people and a dog walking in Imgon trying to hitchhike. MCSO dispatched to the Heppner Police Dept, a report of two kids causing a disturbance behind a residence in Heppner using filthy language and arguing. MCSO dispatched to the Heppner Police Dept, a report of kids loitering in front o f the laundromat and the caller wanted them to move along because cus tomers will not use the laundromat. MCSO dispatched to the Heppner Police Dept, a report of lots of “in and out” traffic at a resi dence in Heppner. MCSO dispatched to the Heppner Police Dept, a report of riders without helmets on a small off-road motorcycle on Chase Street in Heppner. MCSO received a report of a found purse in the road in Imgon. MCSO received a report of a chained dog biting a person in Imgon. The dog tore the person’s pants but did not break skin. MCSO received a report of a person with abdominal pain re questing an am bulance in Hardman. MCSO dispatched to the Heppner Police Dept, a report of teens hanging around Willow Creek Waterpark in Heppner. There was a concern of possible vandalism during an midnight swim. MCSO dispatched to the Heppner Police Dept, a report of noisy teens near the bridge on Main St. with two teens attempt ing to undress each other. June 24: MCSO dispatched to the Heppner Police Dept, a re port of kids dumping trash cans, knocking down a street sign at Court and May streets, jumping into the street and yelling. They then yanked the door open on a pickup and stuck their head in screaming obscenities. A male subject and female subject could be identified if necessary. Heppner Police Dept, arrested Michael Scott, 19, for Theft III, Harassment, and Judy Lynn Peck, 18, for Theft III. They were re leased into their parents’ custody. MCSO received a report of a chainsaw stolen from a bam south of Hardman. MCSO received a report of a man in a boat which was taking on water at McCormack Slough east of Boardman. MCSO received a report of a boat half under the water in the John Day River between Spray and Service Creek. The boat was located and all the people got out. MCSO received a report of a section o f a brand-new dock floating out of the Boardman Ma nna heading for the Columbia Park. The dock got away from the workers. MCSO received a report of kids dnnking at the southeast area at Willow Creek Dam. MCSO received a report of someone removing construction stakes at Second and California streets in Imgon. MCSO received a report of a single motor vehicle accident on 1-84 eastbound, milepost 116. MCSO received a report of a person planning to ride with the person harassed in Heppner the previous night. Youths from the incident allegedly threatened to retaliate. MCSO received a report of a verbal dispute in Imgon. MCSO dispatched to the Heppner Police Dept, a report of a small red with black car driving carelessly around Heppner. MCSO received a report of loud music in Imgon. MCSO dispatched to the Boardman Police Dept, a report of a man in a white van following a woman to work for the past two nights. June 25: MCSO dispatched to the Boardman Police Dept, two reports of loud music from a white carat Columbia View parking lot. MCSO received a report of a w om an sittin g on her grandmother’s property yelling, harassing and refusing to leave. The woman then agreed to leave. MCSO dispatched to the Or egon State Police a report of shots coming from a silver VW bus, hit ting two semi-trucks’ windows. MCSO dispatched to the lone Fire Dept, a fire alarm report from lone Elementary. The call was cancelled. MCSO received a report of two stop signs down at West Third and Columbia and West Third and West Oregon in Irrigon. MCSO received a report of chickens at large at a residence in Boardman. MCSO received a report of someone running over a dog and not stopping in Imgon. MCSO deputy and Boardman EMTs responded to a report of an older female slumped over the wheel of a car at the westbound Patterson Ferry exit. The officer was unable to locate anyone. MCSO received a report of cows on the road near Boardman. June 26: MCSO dispatched to the Oregon State Police a report of a cow shot but still alive at Parker’s Mill. MCSO dispatched to the Boardman Police Dept, a report of a burglar alarm at Riverside High School in the shop. It turned out to be an employee error. MCSO dispatched to the Heppner Police Dept, a report of a woman punched in the nose in Heppner. MCSO dispatched to the Boardman Police Dept, a report of a burglar alarm at a residence in Boardman. MCSO received a report of chickens on the loose in a neighbor’s yard in Boardman. MCSO received a report of a child calling 911 in Boardman and hanging up. June 27: MCSO received a re port of a prowler in progress at 210 Wyoming in Irrigon. Boardman Police Dept, and Oregon State Police responded to a report of a man driving a black Dodge pickup following another driver trying to wave him over and yelling at him. Both parties were advised on appropriate driving eti quette. MCSO dispatched to the Or egon State Police a report of a red Buick going through a guard rail on 1-84 westbound, milepost 154. The door was missing from the vehicle, which was empty. MCSO dispatched to the Boardman Fire and Police depts. a report of a grass fire on Wilson Road. The fire was contained. MCSO dispatched to the Boardman Fire and Police depts. a report o f a car on fire at Boardman. MCSO dispatched to the Boardman Police Dept, a report of a person trespassing at Wilson Road Trailer Court. MCSO received a report of items stolen from a residence on Rhea Creek in Heppner, while residents were on vacation. MCSO received a report of cable out on north Paul Smith Road in Boardman. MCSO received a report of a deer hit at the Imgon Cemetery on Highway 730. June 28: MCSO received a re port of shots fired in Imgon. It was believed to be fireworks. MCSO deputy and Boardman Police Dept, responded to a re port of a woman screaming be hind the Outback in Boardman. An officer was unable to locate anyone. MCSO received a report of kids in parking lot at the BP sta tion doing nothing. MCSO received a report of smoke on Rippee Road. It turned out to be someone burning in a barrel. MCSO received a report of a well driller taken from a residence in Irrigon. MCSO received a report of a bull loose on west Wilson Road in Boardman. The owner rounded up the bull. MCSO received a report of a red Jeep driving recklessly in Imgon on Highway 730. MCSO deputy, Boardman Po lice Dept, responded to a report of a red pickup with kids in the back spinning cookies in the gravel on Summit Lane. Francisco Mar lin Toledo, 32, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants and cited for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxi- cants/Reckless Driving. MCSO dispatched to the Boardman Police Dept, a report of a speeding car at Wilson Road Trailer Court. MCSO dispatched to the Heppner Police Dept, an emer gency message to be delivered to a man in Heppner. Heppner Gazette-Times, Heppner, Oregon Wednesday, July 22,1998 - THREE MCSO received a request for an officer to cite a person for Criminal Trespass II in Boardman MCSO received a report of a possible Driving While Under the Influence of Intoxicants headed toward Sentry in Imgon. MCSO received a report of someone stealing parts from ve hicles parked in Hardman. MCSO received a report of a possible trespass at a residence in Imgon while the owners were out of town. MCSO deputy and Boardman Police Dept, responded to a re port of a house burglarized and trashed in Boardman. MCSO received a report of a dog that keeps eating the neighbor’s chickens in Imgon. MCSO received a report of $40 stolen from a person at the lone swimming pool. MCSO received a report of a sailboard turned in at the Imgon Post Office. MCSO received a report of two males, one on a bicycle and the other on a skateboard being pulled by the bike, veering into traffic on Highway 730 between the county line and Imgon. An officer was unable to locate any one. MCSO dispatched to the Boardman Police Dept, a report of a possible drunk driver leaving the Sentry parking lot in Boardman. MCSO dispatched to the Imgon ambulance a report of a 54 year old woman down with in sulin problems. MCSO deputy and Boardman Police Dept, responded to a re port of a 3 or 4-wheeler racing with a man and a little boy with out helmets. They allegedly tried to run over the complainant’s hus band. MCSO dispatched to the Boardman Police Dept, a report o f a 10 year old hit by rocks thrown by a neighbor. MCSO received a report of a speeding red Honda passing cars on the right and trying to run an other vehicle off the road on High way 730. MCSO dispatched to the Heppner Police Dept, a report of a prow ler at a residence in Heppner. The person left on foot toward Condon. MCSO received a report of a suspicious vehicle in Lexington. June 30: MCSO dispatched to the Heppner Police Dept, a re port of a person drunk and disor derly at a residence in Heppner, attem pting to break into a w om an’s residence. O fficers were unable to locate anyone. MCSO dispatched to the Boardman Police Dept, a report o f a woman’s daughter’s boy friend in an argument that was getting out of hand. MCSO received a report of a lost sail to a catamaran about one mile from Imgon. One had been turned in at the Imgon Post Of fice. MCSO dispatched to the Heppner Police Dept, a report of a suspicious red older vehicle with two boys in it parked on Chase Street. MCSO dispatched to the Heppner Police Dept, a request for an officer for a woman to pick up some chairs she said belonged to her at Yaw’s Restaurant. MCSO dispatched to the Boardman Fire Dept, a report of a large fire in a yard with dry grass and wind blowing hard. MCSO received a report of a white 4-door Neon driving care lessly on Highway 730 eastbound, milepost 171. MCSO received a report o f dogs chasing livestock in Imgon. MCSO received a report from a woman in Imgon who says her husband allows their 15 year old daughter to drive from his resi dence to the gas station and gro cery store with younger children in the vehicle. MCSO dispatched to the Heppner Police Dept, a report of a possible criminal trespass at Kate’s Pizza. MCSO received a report of a possible Driving While Under the Influence of Intoxicants in Imgon. An officer was unable to locate the driver. The DA advised that the driver, who was banned from the state, was in the Imgon area for a trial. July 1: MCSO received a re port o f three teenagers in a woman’s yard in Imgon. MCSO received a report of high school-age boys running through a vacant lot and stirring up the dogs in the neighborhood. MCSO received a report of holes shot in a walk plank bridge. MCSO dispatched to the Or egon State Police a request to lo cate a juvenile staying at a resi dence in Heppner to serve a war rant for Parole Violation/Burglary l. MCSO deputy, Boardman Po lice Dept, and Boardman ambu lance responded to a person with a broken leg in the circles behind his house. The patient was trans ported to Good Shepherd Commu nity Hospital in Hermiston. MCSO received a report of a radio stolen out of a county ve hicle on Ditch Creek and a win dow broken out o f one at Hardman. MCSO deputy and Oregon State Police responded to a report of a white sedan speeding and weaving. Officers were unable to locate anyone. MCSO received information from the Hermiston Police Dept, that a woman had left her vehicle in neutral and it had backed over her in Imgon. The woman was not injured and had already left the scene. MCSO received a report of a vehicle on the Bombing Range Road that lost its wheel. MCSO dispatched to the Boardman Police Dept, a report of a motor vehicle accident at D esert Springs E states in Boardman. MCSO received a report of five people stranded at the west bound rest area on 1-84.
