The Oregon Schools Activities Association, along with the Dairy Fanners of Oregon, has announced that the lone High School girls’ tennis team was chosen as top winners in the spring 1998 academic all-state awards. The lone girls’ team was first academically in all 3A, 2A and 1A tennis teams in the state with a team grade point average of 3.77. lone students inducted into Honor Society Heppner High School students were inducted into the National Honor Society at an academic awards presentation June 2 at the high school.
