reset but still going off every
four minutes. Weather service
and Corps are working on the
problem.

March 9: MCSO dispatched to
the Oregon State Police a report
of a vehicle at the Boardman BP
station with Idaho plates that may
have been stolen. It turned out to
be a disabled vehicle;
MCSO dispatched to the
Boardman Police Dept, a report
o f a dog running loose in Imgon;
MCSO received a report o f a
violation o f a restraining order. A
man reportedly threatened a
woman at the courthouse;
MCSO dispatched to the
Heppner Police Dept, a report o f
a man who was threatened with
bodily harm by his wife at his
place of employment in Heppner;
MCSO received a report o f a
hangar door broken into at the
Boardman airport. Big Foot
Homes was also broken into, but
nothing was taken;
MCSO received a report o f a
child coming home from school
with a bruise in Imgon;
MCSO received a report o f a
forgery. A money order was sto­
len from a man’s residence in Ir­
rigon and cashed.
March 10: MCSO dispatched
to the Heppner Police Dept, a re­
port of the door to the District
Attorney’s office at the MCSO
apparentlyjimmied. It turned out
to be the DA;
MCSO deputy and Oregon
State Police responded to a report
of a domestic dispute at the Bap­
tist parsonage in Irrigon. Bruce
W. Hughes, 31, was arrested for
Menacing and lodged at the Uma­
tilla County Sheriffs office jail,
but was released due to over­
crowding;
MCSO dispatched to the
Heppner Police Dept, a report of
four males at Heppner High
School who wouldn’t leave. They
then left;
MCSO received a report o f ju­
veniles shooting ,22s at trailer
houses;
MCSO dispatched to the
Heppner Police Dept, a report o f
a girl bitten by a dog;

half-rack of beer taken from a
pickup parked at Anson Wright

sponded to a report o f a woman
who had come home drunk and
was verbally harassing a man;

The pickup was fully engulfed,
but no one was injured. The fire
was put out;

ery of a Controlled Substance and
Frequenting a Place where Drugs
are Used. All were lodged at the
Umatilla County Sheriffs office
jail;

cipitation. It turned out to be a
computer glitch;

truck shop on Tower Road in
Boardman broken into;
MCSO received a report o f a
neighbor’s dogs loose;
MCSO received a request from
Columbia Middle School to cite
four juveniles for Minor in Pos­
session, Tobacco, at the Learning
Center in Imgon;
Boardman Police Dept, and
Boardman ambulance responded
to Inland Empire Bank in Board-
man for a female found uncon­
scious. The patient was trans­
ported to Good Shepherd Com­
munity Hospital in Hermiston;
MCSO received a report of a
basketball stolen from a yard in
Irrigon;

State Police responded to a report
o f six-seven juveniles fighting in
Imgon;
MCSO received a report of a
vehicle taken. It was located at
Three-Mile Canyon on the access
road west o f the boat ramp;
MCSO received a report of a
continuing glitch in the dam com­
puter. The. computer set off the
alarm every five minutes. An of­
ficial at The Dalles dam advised
MCSO they could shut off the
computer until they were able to
fix it in the morning;

Police Dept, responded to a report
of a domestic dispute at the Nug­
get Inn in Boardman;
MCSO dispatched to the
Wheeler County Sheriffs office,
Fossil Fire Dept, and Fossil am­
bulance a report o f a pickup go­
ing off the highway four miles
north of Fossil toward Condon.

March 13: MCSO received a
report of a mother picking her son
up from the bus without letting
the father know;
MCSO dispatched to the
Heppner Police Dept, a report o f
two vehicles speeding and pass­
ing each other. A maroon Dodge
and a black vehicle with a blue
bumper were involved. When
contacted the person in the black
car denied racing;
MCSO received a request for
an officer concerning a loud car
stereo;
MCSO dispatched to the
Boardman Police Dept, a report
o f a group o f people having a
party in the parking lot o f the
Outback Apts, in Boardman;
Heppner Police Dept, arrested
Clarence Buchanan, Lexington,
for Driving under the Influence
o f Intoxicants.
March 14: MCSO deputy re­
ported coming up to juveniles
behind Riverside High School in -
Boardman and one juvenile run­
ning;
Heppner Police Dept, arrested
a juvenile for M ischief III and
Parole Violation. The juvenile
was lodged at the Juvenile Deten­
tion Center in Pendleton;
Heppner ambulance and Lex­
ington Emergency Medical Tech­
nicians responded to a report that
a Lexington woman had over­
dosed on pills. The patient was

ter and then airlifted to Bend.

less Driving and the junction of
Highway 74 and 207;

someone parked in front o f a
driveway at a residence and the
resident needed to get out;
MCSO received a report o f
obscene phone calls at a residence
in lone;
MCSO received a report of

of a suspected burglary in Board-
man. The man reported finding
his door wide open, but nothing
was missing. This was the second

the chest with his fist in lone. The
man had a visible red mark on his
chest. Columbia Basin Electric
Co-op requested a deputy to be
present to shut off the power at
the residence;
MCSO received a request for
an officer concerning a vehicle
that had been vandalized in the
parking lot at Columbia Middle
School in Imgon;
MCSO dispatched to the
Heppner Police Dept, a report of
children cussing at other children
in Heppner. When one mother
contacted the other mother to
complain, the second mother be­
gan cussing at the first mother;
MCSO dispatched to the
Boardman Police Dept, a report
o f a man with a restraining order
against him at the residence of the
woman who took out the restrain­
ing order;
