Public Notice and
Notice of Public Hearing
The City of Heppner is
preparing an application for a
1998 Community Development
Block Grant (CDBG) from the
Oregon Economic Development
Department for the 1998
Heppner City Hall Improvement
Project for the purpose of making
structural changes necessary to
comply with the Americans with
Disabilities Act (ADA). It is
estimated that the proposed
project will benefit at least 30
persons, of whom 100 percent
will be low or moderate income.
A public hearing will be held
by the City Council at 7:00 pm
on Monday, March 9, 1998, at
Heppner City Hall, 188 West
Willow Street.
The purpose of the hearing is
for the City Council to obtain
citizen views and to respond to
questions about the proposed
project.
Written comments are also
welcome and must be received
by 5:00 p.m., Monday, March 9,
1998 at City Hall. Both oral and
written .comments will be
considered by the City Council.
The location of the hearing is
accessible to the disabled. Please
let Gary Marks at City Hall

will need any

participate in the meeting.
