"W e hope to have it up and running in a couple o f months. It all depends if we get a few more page sponsors," he says. The web site is based around a home page featuring the city o f Heppner. Various groups, businesses and organizations will be able to purchase pages at the site, and all the pages will be linked to the H eppner home page. The pages can be used for sales, or advertising events and activities in the Heppner-Morrow County area. "This type o f web site reduces the setup and maintenance costs for individual pages s ig n if ic a n tly ," S ykes explained. The costs o f the site will be shared by all those who buy pages. If you have recently moved you probably changed your address on charge accounts, credit cards, banking and financial accounts and mag;azine and newspaper subscriptions. But there are others, equally important, that many people overlook, says Michael.
