"They are good entertainers ... and genuine nice folks," says the Phoenix (AZ) Folk Traditions Music Festival. Mountain Aire is inchided in the juried roster of performing artists by Arts Northwest, a tri sUte arts organization serving Idaho, Oregon and Washington. In addition to performances. This year the Morrow County MounUtn Aire has conducted Fair and Oregon Trail Pro Rodeo workshops on the Scot language and history through folk music. Kid-a-Ride back at fair The Kid-a-Ride carnival will be returning to Heppner for the 1997 Morrow County Fair. Rodeo, was started in 1992 by Don Hutsell and Sonny Riley. BBRC has a "Bom To Buck Breeding Program" going which has been very successful. BBRC has had many horses and bulls at the National Finals Rodeo (NFR). Their bull, Dog Face, a big Red Brangus, was chosen the second best bull of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA). in 1996. Dog Face was also selected the best bull of the year for the Columbia River Circuit Finals in 1992-94 and also in 1996. Dog face was voted the second best bull of the 1993 NFR. Their saddle bronc Holly (a mare in their "Bom To Buck" program) was the best saddle bronc of the year for the Columbia River Circuit in 1993- 94 and 1996. In 1996 Holly and her son, Major Holly, tied for the best saddle bronc of the year for our circuit Everyone who enjoyed them during the St. Patrick’s Celebra tion weekend can enjoy them again at the fair.
