Heppner Gazette-Times. Heppner, Oregon Wednesday, October 30, 1996 - ELEVEN Interview with H H S principal Heppner Elementary holds carnival Ron Anthony (Editor's note: Following is an interview of new Heppner High School Principal Ron Anthony by HHS student reporter Lonnie Rill) Q: Are there any problems with getting aquainted in Heppner? A: None, the people have helped out a lot. Q: How do you rate our school from the one you are from? A: Not as many minorities, fewer kids. Q: Do you have any dramatic changes that will affect Hepp ner High School in the near future? A: Some construction, and an art class room that was in the bond measure that passed before 1 got here. And we will make the school more handi- apped accessable for Adam. Q: What were your reason ings behind moving all the stu dent parking to the lower level? A: Safety-I just didn't want any eighth or seventh graders to get run over. Q: Do you think it has been hard filling another person's shoes? A: It has been tough filling Steve's shoes, because we are different in a sense. He was more involved with the kids because he knew them better than I did. If there are any questions, I would appreciate members of the community coming and visiting with me, or trying to work out any problems you have with anything. 4j~‘ * V trr Missionaries to speak at Nazarene Church The Reverend and Mrs. James Rotz, missionaries to South Africa, will present a program at the H eppner Church of the Nazarene on Thursday, Oct. 31.
